    My friend is a personal trainer and said a lot of people get injuries from using these sorts of equipment. Usually neck as has been mentioned. She also said that you actually dont burn as much 'fat'/tone as you would doing traditional exercises eg crunches. Using this equipment wont necessarily take from abs iykwim. The best she finds for abs is actually what they call the plank/bridge.

    Ive never tried them though i just trust what she says though.

    I have an Ab King Pro and absolutely love it. My tummy had the ridges after around a month of using it. That was before DD came along of course!

    Huh, DH is in the gym EVERY SINGLE DAY pumping iron. *sigh* Lucky git has abs of steel.

    bummer ! I was looking at buying one of these, but figured it looked too good to be true. Luckliy I had a caesarean, so it would have been a bit before I could buy one anyway. Now I won't bother. Thanks for the advice though.
