I think that is a great idea to keep a list and track weight. You're right about having someone to answer to - it does work!! I don't have any scales at the moment though - I should have them back in the next couple of weeks so I will start keeping tabs then and posting here. Great idea!

Hey Danielle - weighing in on here sounds good. I usually weigh myself on the weekends but it can be a bit all over the show depending on how organised I am.

AmySarah - I blamed DP for my weight gain after we first got together too Too bad I can't use that excuse anymore as I've lost and gained the same 10kg ever since!!! Good on you for going for a walk.

I have had a typical week - starting well and the on a downhill slide. Going to be really good with eating today and walk this arvo too!!

    Hi everyone,

Just thought I would pop in to say hello. We are planning on ttc starting december this year but I want to lose about 15 to 20 kg before then so i can have a healthy pregnancy and avoid GD and PE. So now I have 6 months to do this, the pressure is on. I have started eating healthy but I still need to get out there and exercise more often. Its hard when you are so busy. Its great to hear of all you ladies' weight losses, congrats! I will be hanging around and will keep you updated. I'm here to talk if anybody needs it. All the best ladies,

    Leanne

Hi Lea - nice to meet you I was very anti-exercise (always just tried to eat less to compensate) but then joined a gym and discovered that I love exercise, although it is hard to find enough time after work.........it definitely feels better to be fitter! even though I'm not sure I'm really losing that much weight anymore. GL

Danielle - I completely forgot to weigh myself this morning Was so hungry I got breakfast as soon as I got up!! Maybe tomorrow....

Hi all, just popping in again. Hope all are going well with their weight loss - and remember, tomorrow is always another day to get back onto the horse so don't lose hope if you have a bad day. I had days of eating a packet of tim tams, but would just get back on the horse the next day.

Lea - I've emailed you that plan.

Good luck guys!! I'll be joining this thread once I pop this little monster out...

Hi guys, and welcome to Lea & Oshani.

The past few days I have just been ravenous! I'm hungry at like 10pm and just HAVE to have peanut butter on bread. Gotta get that under control

Gudism, good to hear from you. Does this mean you'll be joining this thread after Rabbitt is born so you can lose weight and get fit before TTC #3?

    Hi,

Thanks Mel for sending that plan, it looks nice and easy....well heres hoping!

On a naughty note, I just went downstairs famished and ate the leftover creamy pasta from last night....well I thought I better eat it now better than later! If its not there, I wont have the craving so back onto being good! lol.I better go for a bike ride this afternoon to balance that out a bit!

    Bye for now,

Hello I'm another newbi. I too am looking to lose weight before TTC. I've always been overwieght but during my first pregnancy (4 years ago now) I added a good 25 kilos to my frame, and more has crept on since then. My goal is to get myself down to 70 before I try to give Tyler a little brother or sister.
