Well I'd love to weigh in... but due to a basketball injury from Tuesday night I can no longer stand. I'm going to be on crutches for the foreseeable future. Which really sucks.

The only thing that's good about it all is that the pain medication that I'm on makes me nauseous, so I'm not eating much!

And I'm not game to take this knee out of the brace again... one palpitation by the surgeon and I was a mess! I have to go for an MRI in the next day or two (whenever I can get in) and go back to see the surgeon to see whether I've done my anterior cruciate ligament or just my patella and medial ligament... owwwww....

Good on you girls.. .keep it up!

Oh Divvy!! Big hugs and lots of healing vibes for you hun

I went for my best walk every last night! I was inspired by Biggest Loser and SYTYCD and I loaded up my iPod with dance tracks. I left at dark and there is this new road that just opened near my house - it's 2km long and no construction has commenced yet - so there were no cars or people!

I DANCED 2km down and 2km back up!!! I walked, jogged, jumped, and just generally grooved away the whole time. I was absolutely stuffed when I got back and I'm so sore today but it was seriously the best workout I've had in so long!!! I'm going again tonight!!

Does anyone have any good dance/workout songs they can recommend?

Divvy Healing vibes coming your way. Take it easy and rest that leg.

    AmySarah - Great work

AFM - Something a little interesting - hopped on the wii-fit last night - did the island jog - which was great - took me 11 minutes - I never jog, my ankles won't usually let me, boy, did I feel tired after that one. Anyway, I did the body test and weighed myself, then I went to our scales in another room and weighed myself there. A difference of 1.4kg, so whether the floors are different, or one's not quite flat I don't know, but I think I like the wii-fit ones better LOL

Hoody - Well done on that loss
AmandaJ - You're doing great, sorry I can't answer that question for you.
Ali - I know how that feels, my weight seems to be yo-yo-ing as well.

Just reading through this thread everyone is doing so well. We've all made some important changes to our life.

Oh Divvy, ouch! Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Amy, I bet you had a great time. I really think music helps alot to get you moving and in good spirits. I love anything upbeat, particularly enjoying Pink atm.

Had a scrumptious dinner last night. Being a fine dining establishment, the food was divine and of course smallish portions but just enough! Also had 2 glasses of wine which was heaven! Have not had a drink since I found out I was pregnant! Mmmm it was lovely, the whole evening.

Back on the cross trainer this morning. I can now only do it when DS is sleeping as he's now crawling and tries to climb on the cross trainer while I'm on it and moving!!

Mollycat- I only use my wii to check my weight and i do it the same time each wed mo. My bathroom scales dont like me and i dont think they are accurate. I think as long as i use the same set at the same time of day thereading should be pretty accurate iykwim.

Well no 'real' exercise here today but a mountain of housework including moving all the furniture to vacuum under it then i mopped from top to bottom. I worked up a sweat and my heart rate too so must have done some good lol. DD1 is in DC tomo so i am gonna try and put DD2 in the creche at the gym and do a morning class.

Amy- you sound like you are really starting to enjoy your exercise....well done.

Laranna- Glad you had a lovely evening
