Please don't. They are a herd creature, they need to be with 1 or more their own kind or they go mad. It is just cruel, especially as well to keep them tethered. We have an old rescue goat and after 3 years he still has marks from the tethering. Even really 2 is not enough. We have 2 little goat guests at the moment. They kept on breaking their tethers and finally found their way here. Once they were in with the herd, they refused to leave. We are looking after them till their owners finish their fencing.
Sorry it is a real passion of mine these days. We started off with the thing of get a couple as lawnmowers and now after being with them and learning so much about them, I realise how wrong that is. Honestly it is cheaper to get a ride on and a whipper snipper than what it is to house goats properly.






next doors sheep get into our paddock and we've had to put up a temporary fence, i should herd them down to the chicken paddock and lock them in there for a day or two.
