I went a bit crazy today, today I wanted to have a rest... my first day off kids for 6 months. So I came home from drop off and cleaned the house, then I did the 1mkc work out exercises. I did some running around with shopping and laundry and library... then it was school pick up. I had a friend invite me tonight to a group boot camp, so I went :0 I exercised twice today??? WT?? I can't believe I did it twice.... in ONE DAY?

I would have never done that before this week... it was probably too much, and I'll pay for it tomorrow, but I will sleep well....

christy: hope u feel good tomorrow. i get days like this too and always end up over doing it.

JBM: does your mouth feel better now the tooth is out or cant u tell at the mo? when DD got hers out it was like instant differance in her. she had obvious pain form the op but just seemed so much better.

smashed it at the gym this morning so i feel good. had the biggest coughign fit after but lol.
Gotta go to the doc tomorrow i think i have a ulcer on my tummy near my hip. it started as a pimple on a stretch mark i tried to squeeze it and it wouldnt pop then a few nights later got puss to come out of it and it was BAD!!!!!!! nearly threw up (this coming from someone that tries to sqeeze everyones pimples lol) now it looks all infected and i can see a hole into my tummy
Bit of a woo hoo but embaressing at the same time. Yesterday i was crossing a rd and ran to beat a car, once i got across the rd i realise the back of my gym pants had come down while i was running and was sittin just below my bum lol. so i cant wear those ones anymore (my fav most comfy ones)
Most of my clothes r real old and stretched so technically i havnt gone down a size but i have lol if that makes sense.

sorry to anyone i missed its hard to remember once its a new page.

Yesterday - not 100% with food. Stuffed up with quantities and was under for once, rather than over. So there was only enough for DH's lunch. Also had an old high school friend over for coffee. Was pretty good with hommus and dippy bits, but probably over ate.

Thinking the raspberry and white choc mini muffins might be a bit much for me, too easy for me to eat more than one, plus I think they are a bit sweet. Might save them for a snack twice a week. For me right now, I need to stick to as unprocessed as possible. So snack need to be the renew juice, veggie sticks, piece of fruit etc. My tongue has felt swollen since eating them and I normally only get that from crap eating. Looks like I also have a long term fungal thing, so need to really be careful with anything sugary and/or yeasty.

Bit of a win coming up on the exercise front. There is an outdoor excise area next to the beach, there is also a beach/boardwalk. Was thinking of going there, as I could even work out with the girls there as they would just amuse themselves nearby. Well, I have Friday as kid free day and a friend who is down to one child on that day also wants to work out there, but does not want to do so by herself So looks like we will go in together! We get to catch up and it means I am committed to that exercise time.

Trying to hold off on not weighing till Monday. Am tempted to set up a 2nd user on Wii Fit, so I can weigh outside of the official times. Also that way any fluctuations wont be recorded on my main graph.

Finally on the comp for some personals and feeling a bit better today (explain later), how is everyone going?

Astrid - woo hoo on having someone to go there and workout with, we don't have anything like that here so i am looking forward to getting back into walking next week... but boy it's going to hurt to start with.
I know what you mean about trying not to weigh in earlier, i really need to set 1 day and 1 day only, this morning i got on the scales and was DOWN but i wont take it as a loss until say Tuesday, that can be my weigh in day!
Lol about the goat, we are thinking about getting a goat to keep the long grass down on the hill where the chicken hotel is, we'd have to keep it tethered though i think.

Sassy123 - well done on smashing it at the gym and the embarrasing but empowering pants moment - it's great to see those kind of results!

JBM - ohhh hun i know how it feels having those teeth pulled, i had one wisdom removed and the guy couldn't get it out properly, he tugged at it for like 30min and had to re-administer the numbing stuff, finally it came out but boy was i sore.
With the food you can have can you maybe make up like some yummy pumpkin or veg soup to have cold and pureed - atleast then it's still nice n healthy?

Christy - well done on the exercise hun, how did you pull up? Your doing an AMAZING job, keep it up.

3LM - how you going hun?

AFM - oh god ladies we went out for dinner thurs night to a greek tavern, they just bring out plates of dips, bread, seafood, meat etc and everyone on the table shares. I don't eat the seafood and there were only like 2 meat dishes so i had some bread and dip, ate the veggies they bought out and the greek salad but 3 rounds of the food were seafood so i just kept munching on the yummy warm bread then add to that i got EXTEMELY drunk (prob a first in about 3yrs) and paid for it yesterday - oh boy a hangover and children DO NOT MIX, got a bit of a headache today but i want to clean up so going to work my butt off with the vac and stuff and go check the chickens.
Brekfast today is banana on toast and a cup of tea, lunch is going to be salad and i have no idea what i've got in the freezer for tea.

I got on the scales and despite all my bread intake i did have a loss but i will wait until Tuesday and see if it stays that way, on Monday DD1 has her kinder orientation for an hr so DD2 and i are going to enjoy a mummy & me walk, will prob only be 3km's or something to fit in the hr (as i haven't walked for a few mths) but we will go for a walk every monday and friday while DD is at kinder.. i am REALLY looking forward to it actually.

Well thats it for me, i am going to stuff around on here til 9 then get my butt into gear and go do some housework.

    .
Please don't. They are a herd creature, they need to be with 1 or more their own kind or they go mad. It is just cruel, especially as well to keep them tethered. We have an old rescue goat and after 3 years he still has marks from the tethering. Even really 2 is not enough. We have 2 little goat guests at the moment. They kept on breaking their tethers and finally found their way here. Once they were in with the herd, they refused to leave. We are looking after them till their owners finish their fencing.

Sorry it is a real passion of mine these days. We started off with the thing of get a couple as lawnmowers and now after being with them and learning so much about them, I realise how wrong that is. Honestly it is cheaper to get a ride on and a whipper snipper than what it is to house goats properly.

I didn't feel so bad... yesterday I even went for a walk at lunch instead of sitting and reading facebook... I ate my sushi and then went for a 20 minute walk. Today the kids have martial arts in the morning, so instead of sitting and watching them, I went for a walk/jog down to the soccer field down the road and alternated jogging and walking for 30 minutes, then I ran up and down the hill 5 times, then I went to the back of the hall where the girls were and did some step ups and weights with my arms. I then stretched and their hour was up... it was great... I got an app for my phone to be a calorie counter.

I saw my naturopath/dietician this week with my blood results and we discussed how my food has gone over the past month (been keeping a diary) and what to tweak and she checked out the 1mkc website and the menus and we discussed with the food intolerances what supplements I need to take and how to go about it all for my body. She talked about how I have visceral fat causing my cholesterol results, visceral fat is the fat around the organs which causes the liver to not be able to process as well, or the heart or the lungs.... so we set goals according to visceral fat more than weight and it all seems very achievable...

So while I've been working hard physically, I've been trying to adjust my lifestyle... going well atm..... yep.... I'm keeping focused.

I find the hardest time is the dinner clean up, I just want to snack on the left over pasta or the kids meals which have things that are a no no..... so anyway DH keeps saying "don't do it" when I stick a hand in and I'm being good so far...

I never thought of it like that, we do have a ride on and a whipper snipper but it takes DP 4+hrs to mow the big paddock (not including whipper snippering) then 2+hrs to mow near the house & chicken shed, then he has to do near the creek and then whipper snipper it all. He wanted a goat or a couple of sheep for the bottom chicken shed paddock so they can climb the hill and eat all the long grass, we can't really get up there as it's steep and not safe for DP to stand on with a whipper snipper

We might eventually get a few sheep to keep in the big paddock once our trees have grown a bit and wont be prone to being eaten by inquisitive green hunting bah lambs next doors sheep get into our paddock and we've had to put up a temporary fence, i should herd them down to the chicken paddock and lock them in there for a day or two.

On the weight loss thing does anyone else seem to feel a bit 'heavy' around lunch time even if you haven't eaten much, i know i've lost weight and i can feel it but come late afternoon it feels like i weigh a tonne, but i get on the scales and i'm ok
