Still here slowly working on things at home but am getting abck into things now, have a friend giving me some tips on some things i can do with my wrist injury (which i see the specialist about on Friday )
HotI has a carrier she has offered me to use for DD2 so we can try walking with DD2 on my back rather than pushing the pram, that should be a workout & a half.

I am planning on walking Mondays & Friday's at this stage, will work out some exercises for at home and am thinking might do a couple of laps of the property twice a week too.

Eating is going OK, lots of fruit, veg & water.. will weigh myself on saturday and see if there has been any shift... am hoping so, off to walk the girls to the dam to check for yabbies... brr it's cold out there.

Owwwwccchies Sterla you poor thing! I am registering for the 5km Run Melbourne run, can't wait, it's 38 days away so good motivation to get training!!

ZF - Sounds like you are doing well hun!!!

Belfie Good luck with your PT babe.

Will be back tomorrow for more detailed personals sorry am wrecked. TERRIBLE day food wise and again no exercise. Not getting disheartened though, am registering for Run Melb and am going to do a Pump class with my gf tomorrow night and for a walk with the kids in the morning. I really hate work days - always eat badly and no exercise even though my days are super active with walking and moving around a lot at school.

Will be back in the morning. xoxoxo

I'm feeling the same today too Tan. I have had a terrible day today with food, no exercise and just a bad day all round. I will be back at it tomorrow. Kid free Thursday for me, means a sleep in, and I can do what ever I like for 6hours! I will at least go for a walk, but I hope to do day 2 of week 1 for the c25k programme.

Haha Belfie, great minds I tell ya....I was just about to start a post about chasing the wagon.

Sterla that toe looked awful! I've done that too though. Toes bleed like a buggar don't they?

Woohoo on the run planning Tan. All that activity you do each day at work means that you just aren't sitting on your bottom.

Kell. Sickness and weather are enough to corrupt most people. Tomorrow is another day.

ZA carrying a toddler is most definitely an extra workout.

AFM Eating hasn't been great but it hasn't been terrible either. Have been lunching like a lady (lol) and treated DH to takeaway (when you live 250km away from a tar road there aren't many takeaway options). I have still been at the gym though. Step yesterday, circuit today and chisel tomorrow. Will see if I feel like step again on Friday. Today's effort is hurting now so can't imagine I'll be jumping out of bed tomorrow lol. We did lots of core work and I'm pleased I can still keep up despite the fact my bub's only tiny. I did 38 situps in a minute so will see what I can manage next week.
I really should go more often because when I'm there I really feel great and want to eat healthily....shame it wears off within a couple of hours lol.

Kim I think you are amazing going to the gym with such a wee one! You go girl!!!! 250 km from a tar road far out you are remote!!! Are you near Alice or Darwin? Or maybe neither my brain might be thinking of someone else!

Weigh in today - down to 66kgs! Was totally expecting a gain plus have had AF so am rapt considering my food choices have been shizen! Total loss is 1.4kgs so not huge over 3 weeks but slow and steady which Im hoping is a good thing. Off to do pump tonight, have had cereal and sushi today and will have fruit this arvo - always find it good to weigh in today because I don't have work ahead of me!

I started doing my dvd this morning but was too distracted by the kids but did about an hour of housework and vacuuming etc so figure that counts for summat.

Hope you are all well! Motivation for this week is mot.jpg! <------- Here! I am telling myself this because other than a tiny shift in my clothing (and I mean tiny) I haven't noticed anything yet so am giving myself a break and more time because I get impatient and want it to happen overnight.

Woohoo to everybody You're all doing brilliantly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I pulled a pair of woolen tights on yesterday that I didn't have the horrible sensation of them not fitting the whole way up my legs, you know the one, when you've pulled on a pair of tights and they don't quite fit you so the crotch is lower than yours, they're tight around the thighs and you know that if you don't put a pair of control pants on over the top they might just start to fall down. Well yesterday they went the whole way up and I didn't need to wear control tops to wear them, just normal undies over the top.

I'm looking forward (and a bit scared) to my yoga tonight ..... I'm wondering what I've gotten myself in for. From the website
Anti-Gravity Yoga is a cross between Yoga, Pilates, suspension training, calisthenics, gymnastics, stretching & lengthening your whole spine & body further with less strain. You monitor your own resistance, decompressing tight joints, relieving pressure while aligning your vertebra. Participants are suspended less than a metre above the ground in a silk hammock. All your movements are performed using the hammock.

I hurt more than normal yoga (and have some interesting bruising coming up). I think I overdid it a bit with my ankle and there were a few positions that I couldn't do because of the ankle.

Might give it a couple of weeks and then do a block of 4 classes.

Ran 3.3kms non-stop! (Not even close to your 9 Sterla!!!) but still chuffed!!! Am feeling confident I can build up to the 5 kms by mid July! I felt I could have kept going today too but the last 1 km is uphill!

Keep up the great work everyone.
Had my appt with the surgeon today about my wrist, didn't go as planned and need to see another specialist about it so more waiting, waiting, waiting.
HotI has this cool backpack carrier frame thingo that i am going to use and walk with DD2, it gets her up nice and high, feels quite comfy and will make me work without having to hold onto the pram

Another gorgeous BBer is going to give me some exercise to do at home that wont affect my wrist and will give me some new things to try outside of the 'farm workout' which this weekend will include shovelling the chicken shed out and maybe a walk to the dam to check the yabby nets.

Am catching up with an old work friend for lunch tomorrow, might be at Max Brennar but you only live once and honestly who could pass up gorgeous waffles and a white hot choc will come home sunday and work it off in the yard and on the exercise bike

Well I've been reading... Back on the wagon since wed night, exercising well & eating well - so now I'm getting a cold and feel like crap! Arrrgh! Am going to do c25k but more slowly - just 2 runs a week as
my hips aren't coping with 3.

Sopdet - far out it took me 6 goes to type that on my phone! That yoga sounds amazing!

Yay to everyone else - great to read how you're all going.

ZF - good on you for not letting the specialist delays stop you!

Thanks hun, i'm working on things, slowly.
We eat well, we exercise it's just a matter of fitting a bit more in and working on a few things for myself - i will get there, just not rushing it this time.

belfie - go on youtube and search for "anti-gravity yoga", the guy who designed it also trained Pink in her aerial stuff, I'll be working up to those moves, just not that far off the ground. The bottom of the hammock is about hip height, so you have to sort of jump and slide/throw yourself backwards into it, which was hard when I couldn't push off with both feet.

They also do pole pilates (which is pilates moves on a stripper pole) and the teacher has just started designing pole dancing type moves with the hammocks.

Might have to build up to both of these. My focus right now is getting ready for my holiday and the hike involved on it.

How is everyone's long w/end going?
Yesterday we went to Max Brenner's for lunch and caught up with SIL as my friend bailed as she wasn't well BUT then we walked with the kids around highpoint for a bit and had yummy chicken and veg at MIL's for dinner.
This morning we went for breakfast and i had pancakes and a GIANT coffee but we walked back to the car and then went for a drive to see The Block and had to walk a bit there, then we got home and i mowed the front yard (quite quickly as my mower is broken and i wasn't sure how long it would last) and we cleaned out the chicken shed but we would normally use the quad with a trailer on the back.
The wuad wouldn't start so i had to push the wheel barrow down the hill then fill it twice and push it up the hill again to dump it both times.

I'm cleaning up this arvo so were putting some music on and dancing around like idiots and working up a sweat so hopefully we can knock of some of those calories.
Once the girls are in bed tonight i might even mop, then have 15min on the bike before a shower and bed.
