Holy Cow, what's going on in here with the massive losses????? well done those of us with the big numbers.
Good luck to the rest of us who have small gains or small losses this week. Every week we are trying is a good thing regardless of the numbers (although it does feel FANTASTIC to get those losses :) )
Emmy, try not to stress about it. I'm sure it's fluid retention from the surgery etc. Give yourself a couple of weeks and I'm sure you will see a big difference.
Nice new name Butterfly Child! It took me a while to figure out your last name. LOL I've been sitting here racking my brain
Glad you survived and actually enjoyed the maccas experience Time. Those burgers are pretty ok I reckon. at your DH trying to get you to have dessert. Well done!
I'm weighing tomorrow night. Not sure what I will be as I havent done a lot of excercise this week and AF has just arrived. Hoping fluid retention will have eased a bit by the time I get on....
-
hi girls, just wondered if i could jump in here and join you all?
do you all weigh in on the same day or how does it work?
i really need some support in losing weight as my weight has been gradually creeping up since i had my baby in feb. time to do something about it!
-
Hiya Ginger, we all have random weigh days. Just do what suits you! Although i think most is Monday's? Im a Monday weigher
Good luck for your weigh in Saz!
 for you loss Nai! AND whilst being on holidays
Im with the others Emmy, fluid retention
Awesome new name BC  Your ticker and sig gave it away to me who you were!! Thanks for the encouragement too hun!!
WOW Jayne! Thats amazing!!!
-
Hi Ginger, welcome aboard. Pick the weigh in day that suits you and come along for the ride. Officially mine is Saturday, but it happened on Friday last week and may not happen again until I either visit DH at work again or he manages to find the bathroom scales for me. We moved in February and a lot of stuff hasn't been unpacked.
Sazz, good luck for tonight.
Today's my busy day with mothers group and tutoring so no proper time for exercise. Feeling guilty, but my food has been ok. Working hard at getting that protein up and keeping the carbs down... But I had bread today, and even though it fits, I still don't actually feel all that good after it. Just like last night when I gave in to the call of the garlic bread (and was still under on carbs for the day!)- I felt absolutely dreadful afterwards!

Wow on the amazing losses guys! That is so awesome!
Just a quck one tonight as I broke my thumb at work today (how is my bad luck lately?!?) but will be back tomorrow after weigh-in.
Bye!

What an awesome week for you all  Jayne deserve a special mention... "you are amazing"!
:welcome: ginger :p
Butterfly child love the new name ;)
Emmy I'm sure you will see a loss now that you are back in action... I'm still thinking of you by the way and hope you are doing better
AFM I went on a shopping spree today.... Don't deserve one mind you buy it felt great to but some clothes that actually fit and coming into the warmer weather none of my old clothes fit  I was sick of being hot and not buying any new clothes thinking that I will loose weight... I will wear the ones I bought today again when I am pregnant :D Seeing the gain on the scales this morning and then feeling good in the clothes I bought has motivated me to get stuck into it (again) and stop slacking off!
-
well done jayne that is a huge effort:clap::clap:
-
Oh wow, congrats to everyone, gosh it's shaping up to be a big week! Jayne & Mr S - woo hoo! That's awesome!
Well 100gm gain for me, so coulda been worse. Has been busy as today but i stuck to my guns and ate well today (whilst my Type II diabetes Dad pigs out... hmm). I say roll on next Monday for a loss again.

Hi everyone,
I am falling off the band wagon and need some help :(
Last week I stayed the same, this week I have not been tracking what I am eating because I know its prob too much on my WW points.
Can you all help me please
-
Hi everyone! Sorry no personals but WELL DONE to everyone - great losses and only minor gains (fluid changes) is a great effort all round. I had a ridiculous loss which I will not post as will be major dehydration from the d&v we all had - Ah, just the way I wanted to spent Sunday night - on the bathroom floor wishing I was in a coma for some relief
Ah well, a day and a half of eating nothing will have to have some impact even once I drink back what I lost so will weigh in on Wednesday and hoping for a solid one.
-
SAS _ Oh no! you poor darling, I hope you're ok now???
ALIBABY _ My advice is to go back to tracking, it's all the little bits here & there that add up the points, this is my first time of properly tracking my points & I'm so amazed at how quickly it can add up.
BELFIE _ Like you said, it could have been so much worse & 100g is just a wee my friend! LOL downwards for you next week - I know it!
MR SQUIDIPA _ Thank you very much!!
CHERISHED _ Good on you for the spree, sometimes it's just what we need to get things chugging along again.
KRYSALYSS _ How did you break your thumb? Is it strapped or you can't do anything for broken fingers? You poor thing, I hope it doesn't hurt too much!
BW _ Oh dear, after all the hype over the garlic bread & then it didn't hit the spot - don't you hate that? At least you were still under with the carbs. Tell DH to find your scales or you're going to go buy a new set! I bet they get unpacked pronto!
GINGER _ Welcome! I am just new too but I am finding these girls brilliant helpers!
SAZZ _ Bugger AF, she is a real cow, I hope she lets you have the loss you deserve!
NAI _ What a fantastic surprise & now you are over the 10kg hump! I bet you feel brilliant.
BC _ I think the tracking definitely helped me. Plus the exercise. I did 10km cycles on the bike 3 x times this week, plus a walk to the lake to feed the ducks, plus I made myself play on the funstation climbing maze thing with Claudia over the weekend. BUt all in all, the tracking did it for me.
So I am pretty chuffed with myself today, as you can tell, but I have to remind myself I won't get another big loss like this again - the first week is always the biggie. But needless to say I am still pretty happy. 3.2kg down & 21.8kg to go..........
Oh & banjo is arriving tomorrow, so he is my ticket out of fat camp! hahahaha
-
Jayne - ah you're a star! I love your motivation and energy :cheer: just reading your post is making me feel so motivated!
Alibaby - I'm with you. I need to start tracking again too  I was going to today... but busy with visitors... excuses excuses hey. I ate ok.... but I don't actually know how many points it was. Plus I was also toying with cancelling my WW online sub, but have realised that I shouldn't yet - I still slip up more than i'd like to. I really wish it was just second nature to eat right (like some people seem to) and not so much darn effort!!! My trap is that DH snores, then I don't sleep. Then I have something naughty as a treat to help me get to sleep. Then I'm tired in the day & crave crap. Horrible cycle. I've just told him that i'm moving out of the our room indefinitely until he resolves this issue. That's right, Belfie is getting TOUGH! Actually if I was tough I guess I'd kick him out :(. Oops anyway, I'm getting off track. Alibaby, you'll feel GREAT if you start tracking, eating well & exercising. I always spend weeks procrastinating about it, but when I do, I actually feel heaps better than during those procrastinatory chocolatey type weeks!! YOU CAN DO IT! I'm a-cheerin' for you (and me!)
And Nai - have you got your reward yet?
I got an impromptu reward yesterday - stumbled across this FAB black STRETCH jacket for work. It looked great, fit brilliantly, was 40% off and should be pretty forgiving for any size variations cos it's stretch. I have sooo much trouble finding suit jackets to fit me, so I'm thrilled.
-
Hi chatty people! I am over the moon as I lost 1.2kg making me 69.9kg! My first 6!!!! I so ddn't expect it but am bl00dy glad to see it!
Sorry I can't do personals. DH is waiting for me to get off the computer so will try and catch up later.
-
krysalyss congrats. I can't wait to get into the 6's again.
AliBaby I fell off the band wagon completely. I haven't being tracking either although I know its more then I should be eating which is why I haven't added it up.
I have being using the gain as an excuse from the surgery but now I am climbing back on the bandwagon no more excuses.
What I really want to know is some ideas for snack food. I follow the WW and find the WW Jelly and O point soup the best way to satisfy my hunder between meals but want to know anymore that others might find helpful for inbetween snacks which you can eat as much as you like without the added Kjs, calories etc. Any suggestions?
-
Way to go, krysalyss! I can't wait to join you in 6 land!
Emmy, it may be different for me as I'm also restricting carbs rather than just overall calories. I usually snack on strawberries or grapes - or other yummy fruit. If I've just got things like apples and mandarines in the house I get bored and fall off the wagon very quickly. I find that once I start increasing my protein intake I don't actually get hungry that often, though.
Alibaby, I'd suggest a clean start. Forget what has gone before and just start over. Remember that small changes are usually the easiest to maintain and often have the biggest impact.
Feel good about what I ate yesterday - only 3g over on fats (I had eggs for lunch, that always seems to push it up, but I don't consider eggs to be bad fats) and was about 65g under my carbohydrate limit... It looks pretty good for a day that contained no exercise other than lifting my 10+kg baby! Have woken up with a stinking headache (sinus congestion from hayfever) but have managed to get started on some housework... considering my health and the fact that I have days where I do nothing but rest, I'm counting that as exercise!

Emmy - I like to snack on vegie sticks with salsa dip = 0 points! I cut up a whole heap of celery, cucumber, capsicum and carrot and dip away.
Yay Krys on being in the 6's! It's a great feeling :D
Ali - when I got back from holiday I made myself start all over again. The day we got back became Day 1 - no more excuses or procrastination. As BW said, make it like a fresh start and start writing everything down again.
Belfie - I haven't been shopping yet but hopefully I will be able to go this week and get my reward!
-
hi girls
thank you so much for all your warm welcomes. i'm really excited to join in and start losing weight.
dh weighed me on sunday night asnd i was 74.7kg, i'm pretty upset about it as i actually got down to 70kgs after my baby was born, but have managed to have a blow-out due to eating way too much and blaming it on tiredness/breastfeeding. i would like to get down to 67kgs.
are most of you guys doing WW? i'm basically just trying to eat healthy-lots of fruit and veg and cut out junk.
-
Ginger im doing WW online, ive got about 40+ kg to lose and felt i needed guidence so thats why i joined
