Awesome to hear about the weight losses this week ladies - we all deserve a pat on the back .

Nai - Yay for the new hair and outfit!! Can't wait to see the pic. Maybe I might post a before and 'current' photo .

Funkee - I think I'll see if I can reach about 62kgs - but i'm really happy with where I'm at, considering the time its taken me to lose it too.

Tellytubby - I guess my main thing is just eating healthy (monitoring it on Calorie King website too), not allowing a treat (I go cold turkey lol) and yes, exercise - once I got my weight down a bit I was able to get back into Body Attack classes and I also do RPM (like a Spin class) too for cardio. But right from the beginning I started by walking the kids in the pusher around the hilly suburban streets in my area.

Kaz - grin and bear the numbers hun, its all for a good cause .

AFM - I got dressed yesterday morning to go to the shops - and didn't even stress about what to wear - ALL my skinny clothes fit me now. I still have a bit of a buldge around the belly - but it's easily covered and with a few more months of cardio and eating well hopefully it'll disappear. If not, nevermind - no one can be perfect huh? I'm down to 66.5kg, maintaining that for the last three days, not bad considering I ate poorly last night (DD's bday party). I'm happy I maintained and didn't gain!!!

Hi guys! Everyone seems to be going well.
I lost 800g this week which I am over the moon about as I was really hoping for 500g. Woo hoo! Down to 64.8! Just under my pre-xmas weight! Anyway so busy at the moment with work so probably won't check in again till next week.
    Bye!

    Gday ladies!
How is everyone's Australia Day going? Great I hope!

Katones - welcome! and well done on the loss so far! I find getting started to be the hardest thing, so you're definately on your way to your goal weight!

krysalys - woohoo!! 800 grams is awesome! Almost a whole kilo!! hell yes!

leesa that is awesome that all your skinny clothes fit you! Ibet you're feeling incredible! COngratulations! Mid 60's is a great weight range, thats where i'd like to be. But think i'll still be estactic if i even reach mid 70's which WILL happen! lol

Kaz 900 grams is awesome! Basically a kilo, so i'd be sooo stoked with that! I'd go by the WW scales, they'd have to be precise - and i'd DEFINATELY be going by WW if they're saying you've lost more! hahaha! Good work!!!

Okay tomorrow afternoon is my weigh in at WW. So we'll see how we go! I think i've done really well this week. Definately feeling less bloated, and sounds stupid cause i've only been on it a week - but i feel skinnier. Will fill you guys in with my news tomorrow ok!

    xx

Nai - You look fantastic! Well done! Riding to work will be a great way to keep you active. Good luck for your return to work.

Krysalyss - 800g is so good, especially now that you are getting closer to your goal!

Leesa - That is so awesome that you are back in your skinny clothes. I can't wait to be able to not worry about how I look in my clothes. It's such a mental boost.

Tellytubby - 4.4kg in 1 week! Wow! That is almost how much my DD weighed at birth! I hope that you can keep up a steady loss.

Kaz - 900g = awesome. I with the other girls, if they say 900g then it's all good.

AFM - have been a bit slack this week but still had a loss of 0.5kg. How often is everybody weighing in? I am weighing myself on monday and also thursday/friday just to check how i'm going.

Hey there everyone... i'm new to the weight loss thread but after bub #2 i have decided to bite the bullet and keep my weight loss journey going.

A bit of background: I have always been up and down with my weight, generally i was a FIT person with a big build and aslong as i played sport that was fine but as soon as i stop physical activity (no matter how well i eat) i gain large amounts of weight.
In Yr 12 i was about 120kg or more , at the end of year 12 i lost quite a bit of weight and managed to get back down to a size 14 but over the years have gone from 14 to 18 to 20 to 14 etc etc.

After DD1 i lost 25kg and got back down to around 90kg (obese based on BMI) then found out i was PG with DD2 i didn't put on as much weight with her but the hosp only weighed me around the middle of my PG and i was about 102kg.

    TODAY:
Weight: 96.3kg (according to shopping centre scales)
    Height: Roughly 5ft 10
    BMI: 31 = obese

I guess i just want to give this a real go, i don't want to end up like my mum and not want to go swimming with my kids because i don't fit into bathers, have to be on medication for pre-diabetes.
I don't want to worry about that, i want to be fit and healthy and be around to watch my kids grow up.

Sorry this is so long, will read through and try and get to know everyone a bit.

GL with your journeys and for mine.
Guess i better go and buy myself some scales soon and figure out EXACTLY what i'm going to do to keep this weight off.... any hints?

Thanks Leesa! I started when DD2 was 3 months and the pics were taken in Adelaide at Christmas so I think it took 7 months for the weight to come off. I still have a bit to go but I think it will be a slow process.

nai: what an amazing job you've done so far, you look amazing, i am too scared to even get a photo lately, it is scary, and i would need a wide angle lense i am sure. LOL. keep up the good work and i am sure you'll reach your goals, any tips for me ?

zarava: you sound very similar to me size wise, yes i am obese too,. 176 cm and 91 kg, i feel discusting. the thing is for me i was always skinny, only been since bub no 3 that i am now fatter. i find it so hard to keep on track. i went to a gym for 3 years and lost some then put it back on. it's so frustrating. i am trying to get a few friends together for walks and fitness stuff, swap healthy recipes etc.

    AFM : still feel fat.
am going to be starting a good challenge. had 2 x eggs, some fresh zuccini and tomato ( out of my garden) for breakfast.
but then had some bread for morn tea. bread doesn't like me.
going to be trying a bit harder, and writing in my food diary EVERY DAY !

I was just thinking about asking my MG to go for a walk 1 arvo a week or something and also thinking bout doing a MG recipe book... great minds think alike

I have always been BROAD or BIG BONED as people would say and never smaller than a size 14 but when i was a size 14 i felt like i looked pretty damn good.. i think my issue is people always say "but your VERY tall you hide it well" or "you don't look THAT big" and i guess i just let it slide, i wear baggy clothes which is all wrong, makes me look even bigger.
I felt great after DD1 and now loosing i think close to 10kilos in 3wks with DD2 i wanna keep that momentum going.

Hope everyone is going well with the WL journey, i look forward to getting to know you all.

funkeefrog: 500g is still a loss and if you did that every week, you'd lose 2 kg a month and 24 in one year, great work.

    katones: good luck
zavara: your friends must be my friends, they say the same to me because i am tall i don't look as big. " liars" LOL
    i still feel fat.
