    Hello again.

I thought I'd pop in to change my ticker (new to the ticker thing lol). I haven't had a chance to come online to update, or to even get to know you all. I suck, I'm sorry .

Jas you are such an inspiration! Well done on the self control.

Nai WTG on the trialthalon! Bettered your expected time AND didn't come last lol. Well done.

JBM when I was at the gym with a PT, I was the same weight I am now, but a lot skinnier. It's definately about the muscle! BTW my weakness is definitely chocolate too. It sucks! I have shaken my coke (cola lol) addiction though. Now I can't even finish a can without feeling sick because it's so sweet.

Krys ikwym about obsessing. I'm glad I had the break when I was injured to be honest - although I did nothing but sit on the lounge and stuff my face with junk food. Clearly my junk food issues have not resolved! I hate that. Happy Birthday (I'm sure I'll miss it!) and I hope you enjoy your trip!

Great loss TT! I must be plateauing as well - I haven't seen numbers like that for months now. ROFL on celebrating with hot chips - totally something I'd do too.

Jas, a loss is a loss, no matter how it comes about LOLOL. Is it wrong to think like that? 11cm - that's excellent!!

Leesa WTG on the size 10 jeans! I can't even imagine lol.

KTgirl we're at about the same weight, same plateauing I think. I have lost 4.2 kg since going back to exercise - I think it was about 6 weeks ago. I didn't have the 10 kg weight loss behind me though - that is excellent for you! I put on 6 of the 7 kgs I lost before Christmas. I feel so ashamed saying that, but I feel safe saying it here lol.

My short term goal is to get to where I was before Christmas, then to get into the 60's after that. I know it is going to happen, it's just slowwww going. I really need to make the effort to come here more often for the support. Sorry if I missed anyone!

Sorry I haven't been in for a while girls. It has been a bit of a crappy week. My DH Grandfather died on Saturday morning a little unexpectadly. He had an op a few days earlier to remove what they thought was bowel cancer. Everything seemed to be fine then he went down hill very quickly and passed on. They have done the autopsy but it will be a few weeks now before we know the cause of death On top of that his Aunty also had a heart attack on hearing the news but thankfully she is doing a little better now. I may not be in much next week either as the funeral is next Tuesday and it is about 4 hours away in Bundy which was Grandads home town so we are going on the morning of the funeral and will stay the night and come back the next afternoon.

On a brighter note I lost another .5 this week!!

T4M - Good to see you again. Hun don't feel ashamed to say you put some of the weight back on. We all do it from time to time. The most important thing is you are back on track now

Krys - Hope you enjoyed your massage today. And I hope the pateau stops for you soon hun. I am the same with my tummy now since having the kids I find if I put on weight it goes straight to my tummy

Tellytubby- Well done on another fantastic weight loss

Nai - Wow good for you for doing the tri Well done!!

Jas - Fantastic loss again Well done!

Kaz - I was wondering where you had been. Make sure you come in again soon!

JBM - Great job with more cm's lost Keep it up but stay away from that chocolate!

Lisa- Glad you are still keeping an eye on us. I will PM you now about your pictures. I would love to have a look for some inspiration I haven't read your Boohoo thread but I hope your Mum is ok hun xx

    Hi all!

Its been a little quiet in here lately!

Time. Thanks! 4.2kg in 6weeks is great! Good on you!

ktg, I'm so sorry for the loss of your Grandfather.

It was my WI day yesterday and another 1.3kgs and 14cm gone!! FOREVER AND EVER!!!!

All up in my first 3weeks of ww's I have lost 9kg and 37cm!!!!!

Also I found this great motivator! I have had some people comment asking had I lost weight and so obviously its visible and I think I can see a bit of a change and have asked Phil anyway yesterday I realised a way I could tell, I got the measuring tape and put it to the measurements I was before around the different parts of my body, I was quite amazed and very proud of myself too I have to say. I am one of those "lucky" ones that puts weight on around my tummy and I have lost 12.5cm on my hips and 12.5 on my waist!!! It was great to see the difference and apart from the fact that I like the look better I know losing weight off those areas is soo much better health wise and with different risk factors

Jas that's great effort!! I measure myself too. I'm a classic hourglass so all the weight goes directly to my butt and thighs.

Ktgirl sorry to hear about your dh's grandfather and aunty. I hope she's feeling better quickly and that dh's grandfather's funeral goes well.

I went to my dh's parents place over the weekend. My weigh in day is Friday. I had gone up 500g which I blamed on the 2nd piece of home made quiche I had on Thursday night (excuse? lol). So I weighed myself on Sunday and I'm back up a kilo on top of that!! From 2 days?? Frustrating!!

I went to the physio today and she's very happy with my progress and I don't have to go back for 4-6 weeks unless something doesn't feel right. She said she's quite sure my problem was I started running before my core muscles were strong enough to handle it. She's given me a heap of exercises to do to keep them strong (ashamedly none were new to me lol ) and I can work up to running again in the future, but not right now.

Woohoo! I have lost 10kg in 11 weeks and still going strong. I'm on track to reach my goal weight by my birthday. It feels great. I bought a new bra and some gut sucking underwear to go under my new dress and looked awesome for my sister's engagement party. We got our hair and make up professionally done which was a nice bit of pampering too.

T4M - Were you weighing yourself on the same scales at the same time of the day. That could be the reason for the fluctuations. Hopefully that is the reason

    Jas - Wow, great work

Ktgirl - Sorry about your DH's grandfather and aunty. I hope that you were able to have a good celebration of his life yesterday.

Krysalyss - Happy Brithday! Hope you and your DH have a great getaway.

TT - You are amazing! How much have you got left to reach your goal weight? How did you go in the cyclone? I was keen to catch up but ended up leaving early Sunday - didn't want to hang around with no power.

Nai - Awesome triathlon results. They have a try-athlon here, a short course where anyone can just turn up and have a go. I was considering doing it but would need to acquire a bike from somewhere first.

WTG Funkeeefrog! Nice on the pampering

I wish the fluctuation was that reason - same scales, same time of day. It's on its way back down now. I'm so frustrated!! The same thing happened late last year and it was the start of me falling off the wagon. Determined not to this time, but I have to say I'm struggling.

    Hey ladies!

Sorry i've been MIA lately. I have been reading/listening, just not joining the convo. Didn't have a very good week last week, gained 400grams. We had the cyclone here in qld, then lost power for 3 days, so it was very much, eat whatever you can - mainly bbq food.. mm mm! haha! And ofcorse i didn't want the food to spoil lol
But at the WW meeting, only 1 person lost weight!! Yikes! I think everyone was in the same boat as me! So that made me feel a bit better.

Definately been back on the wagon this week tho, looking forward to my next weigh in, still hoping for finally hitting the 70's! Think i'll cry when it actually happens

MrS - Nice to 'meet' you, hehe! Good luck with your first week back, its always the hardest!
Leesa - did you add me on FB? Not sure, but i defiantely want to have a squizz! Will PM you, k
Funkee - hell yes on the suck in underwear! lol! I'm such a fan! I actually bought a pair once, that said on the tag 'loose 10kg in 10secs'! I got them.. 80 dollars later But i swear... boy oh boy did they work! Just the whole "10seconds" claim was a slight exageration i think, took me more like 10 minutes to just get one leg in, haha. Thats cool about goin home early, can't blame you! Would still love to meet you tho, so if you ever want to let me know k ?
Jas - awesome news that people are commenting on how great you're looking! Nothing better than a compliment, they seem so rare these days!

    xx

Hey everyone, sorry haven't been in much.

Not 100% on my journey at the moment as still no scales but i feel ok although haven't been eating as well as i would like.

Had a cr@p remark from a Dr the other day saying that "clearly your overweight so we will check your thyroid JIC"
So this is my new motivation to get back on track with this weeks food shopping... damn idiot i have an 11wk old and an 18mth old and lost OVER 6kg since DD2 was born... thats why i don't normally go to bulk bill ppl outside of my normal Dr's....

Will make more of an effort to come in and do personals... hope your all well and i'm sure your all looking HOT HOT HOT.

Re: Diet & Weight loss general support #7

Hi all, can I join in here?

I am hoping to lose 8kg to get me back to a healthy 22 BMI. I've got a mini goal of 4kg by DS's birthday in 6 weeks.

My weakness is chocolate and I have no self control! I'm also finding that since having DD I am constantly hungry to the point that my stomach is grumbling 2 hours after dinner. I'm stuck for what to snack on aside from fruit.

Hey Zara - Was he male or female?? Some drs are so rude. I actually told my specialist once that he was a rude ignorant man... felt so much better afterwards! haha! From then on our consultations were always, quick, brief, to the point. Less i had to see of him the better, and i'm sure he felt the same way. Big hugs Don't let it get to you, you are in the process of becoming a healthier person - you are amazing.

Eluned! Welcome to the group! 4kg in 6 weeks is achievable, good luck with your first week! And good luck sticking to your guns at the birthday party! Always my big weakness (kids parties). Could you have some cereal after dinner perhaps? Or a cup of tea/coffee? They always seem to 'fill' me up, because its a big cup of liquid iykwim. I simply don't have chocolate in the house anymore.. i too can't help myself! I figure if its not there, i can't eat it! GL!

grr stupid scales not working properly now that they are working properly i discoverd yesterday that i am 125kg and i desided to measure myself around my waist and i am 134cm ekk after getting over that shock of realising how large i have allowed myself to become i have decided that it is time to do something about it for good this time an dget off this roller coaster of gaining weight losing weight and so on this is no good for my health plus being think heavy is starting to take a told on my health such as developing asthma elevated blood pressure and so on I dont want to die from being this large and the way that i am going i wont make it much past 30 btw i am 29.

It is not fair or right that our kids should grow up without a father and my Dw grow old alone just because i keep stuffing my face my goodness how selfish is that!

anyways i have already lost 500 grams that is a great start my goal weight is 70kg and that fit is well with what i should be for my age height ect ect.

i have a long way to go but i am determined to get there i hope it is ok to rejoin this group again for support and to give out support.
