I am currently 79kg - I am 176cm tall and my BMI is well within the healthy range. I went to the doctor a few weeks ago and had the annual blood tests - my colesterol, etc are all excellent - I mentioned that I would like to lose weight but it doesn't want to come off for me so she offered a script for duromine.
I didn't even know what it was, she listed off some of the side effects which are nothing compared to what you read online....
I took the script telling her I intended looking into it further.
Thing is, everything I read says it's for people who are seriously obese which doesn't describe me at all.
Do you think this is irresponsible practice?
I think where she was coming from was the kick start to weight loss to give me motiviation, but still not sure.......

I ended up giving up competition running because I simply couldnt get my body where I needed it. At the time I left competitive running (12 months after trying duromine) I was 56.5 kg and my body was stuggling (periods became very sparse)
even when I was "skinny" I still had "thunder thighs" ive come to accept my big thighs for what they are, they are always going to be "big" and im always going to have some cellulite (It has never ever gone away). Im sure you are gorgeous just the way you are!
