    Duromine

    Hi
Im 25 and mother of a 10yr old stepson and an 11 month old daughter. I am feeling a little frustrated and stressed. When I was pregnant with CC I put on 30kg even though I barely ate and was run off my feet at work (I am a nurse). I lost 18kgs post birth with some active weight loss but the last kg's have stuck with me for 9 months. I am finding it difficult to get too into a weight loss regime as between the kids ( I started the year without any and now I have the 2 so it's been a big adjustment!) looking after the house and working several nightshifts a week I don't know how I will find the energy to lose weight.

Just to make things super interesting I have 5 weeks before my wedding so I am feeling a lot of pressure to even get back in the 70kg range. (I am 163cms and currently 81kg).

I am thinking that I might be a good candidate for some duromine but I live in a small town and Drs are reluctant to prescribe from what I am told. Am I better off going for a drive to Sydney to find someone? Can anyone recommend a sympathetic but responsible GP in Sydney or Southern Surrounds?

My email address is jemmieluvsya@hotmail.com if anyone wants to contact me privately.
    Ta.

    hoping to get there....

Hi all - really interesting reading all of the feedback on the use of Duromine...

I have today taken my first dose and am exciting to be doing something to kickstart some further weightloss.

I am 180cm tall and was my heaviest at 116kg - I have lost 16kg on my own with excercising 6 days a week (sometimes twice a day) and having one rest day. And with changing eating habits...ie, substantial brekky and lunch and then a light evening meal with a couple of serves of fruit throughout the day.

Reading 'oddoneout's' feedback really struck a chord and I can realate totally...in that, if I have made the concious decision to use duromine as a TOOL to HELP lose the stubborn weight, then the side effects should be kept to a minimum - as I will be taking it strictly as prescribed and outlined but also making it a stepping stone to my healthier lifestyle...I don't think it's fair to expect to lose the weight 'easily' in the medication and abuse the quick results once finished...with not changing excercise and eating habits in turn...

I am so pumped and look forward to getting to my goal weight (even though it's a while away) of about 80kg.

Thanks for all of your feedback ladies, and I look forward to reading up on your further progress!! It's always good to know there are others out there, in a similar boat trying to reach a similar goal...
