Hi Ladies,
In regards to the cycling, I saw an episode on 'Whats good for you' on Foxtel and it had a story on interval cycling and weight loss - they say that without changing your diet you can lose weight, although if you eat well it helps even more.
The training consists of the following:
3 days a week
Intervals:
'8 seconds - sprint' then '12 seconds - recovery/regular pace'
Total of 20 minutes.
I have worked alot with interval training in the past and it works really well, although I have not tried this actual variant, it does sound good, 8 seconds isn't to long to sprint, and it will make it easier and more interesting to get through the 20 minutes. (Program is made for a stand still bike)
Just another suggestion for your consideration!
Deanne.

I think it was the stress of moving. But the Brissy hills are helping me get it off, and the heat makes me want to swim! There's a pool on the way home from work, and I think I will start stopping in there just about every day. I'm feeling good about it all!
