I have a problem with chronically skipping meals.. I have done it for over 10 years, maybe even 12 years. I usually can only eat 1 meal a day. I have seen a great dietician, and I know how to eat healthily (ironically the minute I eat 3 meals a day I lose weight), but it is a real struggle to make myself eat, and especially having a special needs child who needs a lot of my time, I end up not eating.

I'm just trying to get myself into a pattern of eating 2 meals as shakes (at least that way when I'm driving DS to specialist appointments I can have one) and then slowly once I can let myself have that time, to change back over to normally meals. Dinner will stay normal, which are pretty healthy and done in consultation with the dietician.

Ironically I used to bag out people who used this as a method of weight loss, as it is so artificial, but I'm just trying to get something into my body until I can re-teach myself that eating is not a special rewards for when everything else is done.
