I last weighed myself about a month ago and I was 67kg, feel like I have lost more but don't know as the scales were my MILs. I'm reasonably happy with my weight. I'm not happy with my stomach though! I don't think I'm doing too badly seeing I only had Buster in December.

    ETA - I think I'm about 158cm

    I'm 165m and currently 65kg (I am 15 weeks pg)
Before falling pg I was 63kg and pretty happy with how I looked. I had just lost over 8kg though through healthy eating and exercise.

My dream weight is 60 but I find it impossible to maintain.

    I'm 55kg, and around the 1.6m tall...

I've put on 6kg this year, I'm feeling quite healthy now.

I am 63.8 and 156 cms tall. I know lots of people who say they would like to be under 65kgs but having said that it's all relative - at my biggest post kids I was 70 kgs. Earlier this year I was 67kgs and even now I am too big for what I am comfortable with. I am in size 12 for some things but minaly 14's especially bottoms and am still in unhealthy fat % range so I do need to lose more than I have. I was aiming for 60kgs with my weight loss but am shifting the goals to 58kgs now. I think that will mean a healthy BMI, room to fluctuate, and also mean I am a size 12ish in clothes.

    How much do you weigh?

I am 169cm tall and weigh 103kgs, I was 125kgs when I first weighed in at the gym in April.
I have a personal trainer and a nutritionist who are helping me on my weight loss journey.
I have had to lose it for ivf and it has been hard but in saying that I feel great. Much fitter and to go shopping with dh on holidays last week and be able to buy clothes from what I call normal shops is great.
I don't get dressed and feel as fat as I did. I still have more to lose and still am not completely happy with how I look though as the top of my tummy is struggling to lose it and I hate having a bulge!!!

I think they way you feel in yourself determines whether you need to lose weight. According to what they say I should be I think it would be to skinny on my body the way my body structure is and yet on another person it would be right. My goal is 80kgs which they say is still overweight but I will be happy to be that.

Nickle, based on your post your body would be very similar to mine - same height and weight. I'm 163 and weigh 78. The lowest I've been in adulthood is 68, the heaviest was 85 when pregnant with DD. I totally understand what you mean about not feeling fat. My DH even said to me when I had a big whinge: "Baby, you're hot. And if you're worried other people think you're fat, I bet they don't. Don't take it the wrong way but I can see what you mean, but with clothes you're completely different."

And he was right, I just look like an average person fully dressed. Clothes don't fit like I'd like, but still. It's not until I'm naked in front of the mirror that I really realise hey, this is not good.

I've been on this bandwagon before, many times. I go hard, I feel great, I lose the weight. But it's not sustainable and the weight creeps back on. So this time I'm doing it differently.

I know exactly where my weaknesses are - addiction to caffeine and junk food, I have to have a certain food at certain times of the day. But instead of just going cold turkey, I'm weaning off slowly. I no longer have soft drink with dinner - we don't have it in the house at all. My mid-morning iced coffee was switched to iced chocolate and that's now only every second day. I take fruit to work so I'm not tempted to buy junky snacks - every now and then I do, but I no longer beat myself up about it. The biggest thing for me is a good meal plan. I know what's for dinner at night, I've generally gotten some of it ready the night before, and so there's less temptation to buy something crap.

I also acknowledge that my lifestyle generally leaves zero time for planned exercise. If I can get in my half hour walk at lunch, fantastic. If DD sleeps well, the housework is done and I can manage time on the cross trainer, great. If not, I know I'll make it up on my days off. I've had to give myself a weekly goal rather than daily, and I try to avoid two days in a row without any exercise at all.

I'm learning to look at it as a marathon, not a sprint. I don't weigh myself every day anymore because seeing the numbers go up is depressing and can lead to a feeling of failure, leading to crappy feeling-like-it's-all-not-working eating of junk food. I still have goals but they're longer term and if I meet them early then hooray!

I think it takes a lot of guts to acknowledge where you're at and do something about it. You can do it

The only reason I am weighing myself at the moment is because of the 12wbt and when it is over the scales will be put away again (or thrown out). I honestly don't care what the numbers say because they are in no way a reflection of either my health or my fitness level.

Even when I was very skinny (and very fit) when I was young I was in the overweight to obese weight range, I made it to the top of my healthy weight range once and had the doctor worried I was too skinny (until I stood on the scale). I refuse to follow the BMI scale, or what a healthy weight range is for me because even at the top end of that scale (healthy weight range) I look scrawny and ill.
Could you explain this some more? I am guessing you are a body builder or something? I'm just curious how the numbers work.

It's interesting to point out, though, that bmi is a load of bs. I'm about 162cm and the heaviest I've ever been (not pregnant) put me at the very top of the supposed healthy weight range, but I was far from healthy that was just wrong.

In recent times I stayed 57kgs. However, in my early twenties I sat around 51kgs for ages. I really loved being curvier with big breasts, until I had dd and lost so much weight breast feeding and returned to 51kgs. I felt a lot healthier. Now I'm starting to regain the weight and i don't want to.

51kgs is bottom of my supposed healthy weight range, but I don't do any exercise (other than chasing kids and constant housework) and I'm at risk of heart disease so I don't consider myself healthy at all.

I would be double what the average is in here and I'm 176cms tall. I was nearly 40kgs heavier this time last year. My goal weight for my build is 85kgs which compared to most here would be overweight still, but it's a great weight for me. I'm a large build even without all the flab.

It's funny as well, because 65kg on one women and 65kg on another, even when they're the same height, can be very different, look very different, and probably most importantly, feel very different for each woman. So while 65kg night be ideal for someone whose weight is distributed evenly across her body, 65kg on a really top heavy woman may not be ideal.
exactly. im pretty top heavy too hehe not just my boobs but i have broad shoulders.
i think whats more important too is if you are really happy with your body too.

I am 163cm and weigh about 60kg. It's a healthy weight, but I am flabby with a big roll on my lower belly. I have always had it and I can't stand it. The roll pushes my undies and pants down so they sit under it, not pretty!

So true PZ - that website where you can see women of a certain height and weight compared is really interesting for that - shows exactly those differences. Forgotten the name of it though!

Hehe... underbelly knicker roll sounds like something that would come out of the Willy Wonka Factory!

But maybe I just think that because I am fat

I am 156cm tall and I currently weigh 55kg. I'm nearly 27w pg though. I have no idea what I weighed pre-pg this time but I was still losing weight from my last pg (I was 6m PP when I fell pg again) I think I'd be happy at 49-50kg. I was quite unhealthy before ds2 and weighed 40-43kg and I don't want to go back to that...
