I guess many of us are wondering why the weight itself is a number you wish to know without disclosing a purpose. For example, if you were struggling to lose weight yourself and found inspiration in the amazing weight loss some of these women through where they came from to where they are now then fair enough. But as a woman who is already at her ideal weight it seems voyeuristic to want to know how much others weigh - whether within the normal ranges or not.
My weight is not important - for you to know, me to disclose or even for me to worry about. I don't care how much the scales say. My concern is about my strength, measurements and cardiovascular fitness. I am not at my ideal weight but that weight is also different to what the *experts* say it should be.
Talking about weight or telling others how much your weigh is a sensitive subject for all women. It makes it feel like a competition when really the number is irrelevant.

. I still don't understand what the big fuss is about. Are we not mature adults?
