probably start with cutting out those naughty foods little by little, such as the chocolate muffins on Fridays
the calorie king website is fantastic. you can count your calories on there. May be try a shock to system type diet?? A shake diet for 1-2 weeks would do the trick, but it is tough.
I've just started using the calorie king website - I like the menu planner where it adds up your calories for you.
Hopefully I too will budge this pesky 5kg that appeared over winter!
I've lost 31 kgs using calorie king, nearly at my goal weight 7 kgs to go! it has taken about 8 months but really realitively easy considering.
