you get an additional 7 points a day on the points plan, and you can start any time after your 6 week check up. the core planis also good for breastfeeding as it focuses more on the right types of food.
itf you go to a meeting just make sure you mention to the leader that you are breastfeeding and they will give you a special breastfeeding booklet to go with all the other information.

I'm on WW and breastfeeding. You do have to wait until bubs is 6 weeks before starting. They calculate your extra points based on factors like your starting weight, activity level etc. I started on 30 points which is so much food it is often hard to actually eat that much.

They are pretty strict with the rate at which you loose weight. A healthy aim is no more than 500grams a week so as not to compromise your supply.

Just to give your body a chance to recover and allow your milk supply to establish. I guess it also coincides with your 6wk check.

I was eating 28 (4 more than I suggested) when I was bf ds last year. I lost 8kg!

Fingers crossed I Can do it again this year, except I'm not bf, so it's all different this time round!

Is there any WW recipes on BB? I'm officially on WW, just using some old books my mil gave me. I need more options! I need to know what other foods are worth!

I am doing ww online and it is $74.85 for 3 months at the moment, there are hundreds of recipes and you can look up the points of heaps of food. I am bf and am on 30points a day which is a lot and I strugle to eat all the points some days, definitely not feeling hungry doing it.
an example of my food intake
breakfast -yoplait yoghurt, banana and museli in a bowl
    snack -dried apricots and almonds
lunch - wholemeal roll, turkey, avacado, spinach leaves and low fat cheese
snack - wholemeal crumpet and jam and 2 pieces of watermelon
    dinner - chicken curry
