I don't want to bust your balloon!!! But I don't want you to stop the good work at the same time........ ssssoooooooo ..............Here goes...
Normaly when you first start a diet on the first week you do tend to loose alot.
Another thing to consider is where you are in your cycle (regarding fluid retention) and did you weigh yourself around the same time of day as your weight fluctuates during the day.
