No I didn't. I'm just under 40kgs down though and halfway to where I want to be.
Currently wearing my size 18 jeans down from a 26/28 in August last year.
Did you reach 50kh Niadalla?
I have joined for round 2 and am trying to get myself organised to start.

That is so awesome Niadalla! Are you rejoining or going out on your own?
Best of luck DC. Make sure you do the preseason tasks, as much as they seem tedious or not worth doing. Most people who do the tasks & commit to them succeed!
Hi ladies. I have just joined for the 2nd round. Bit nervous but was wondering who was doing it on here.
Thank you for this post!! Never knew about this program. I joined last night.
I want to lose 13kg. I'm really nervous as I'm not sure if I have the right mindset. I'm okay with the eating it's finding the motivation to exercise that's an issue with me.
I have joined as well! Glad to see that there are BBers along for the ride. My username on the 12wbt forum is the same as here. I'm nervous but excited!

Another joining in for round 2![]()
Hi everyone. Can anyone give me a lil bit more info? Im wanting know know more about what the pre-season tasks are and what the exercise things are in the program, only because with DD it can be a struggle smetimes to even be able to pee on my own so need to work out if im going to be able to do it.Would hate to pay the money then not be able to![]()
Ditto familyof3, I'm nervous about paying $200 only to fail. A friend of DH and his wife really recommend it though, so I'm thinking about it.
Is it easy to follow? Is the food fairly simple? And what are the workouts like? I'm up at 6, rushing to get to daycare and work, usually home by 5:30 where it's straight into dinner bath and bed routine. I usually have time for me at about 8pm and generally don't feel like exercising!
But, I know I need to do something and I'm wondering if this can help me keep my motivation up.

Aww kaytee, looks like time wise it would be harder for you then me......i feel kinda slack now lmao. Im at home all day but between the 3kids hubby and house keeping i dont get much time. I tend to cook dinner in the only time space i can(we live with inlaws so have to be out of kitchen by the time there home or its crazy kitchen) which is during dds sleep so i could try then but between the cooking n things to get done in that space makes it hard. Then god forbid if shes ill ive no chance as she sleeps on me at those times :s
pls excuse the spelling mistakes on my galaxcy
Lol I'm guessing with three kids and living with the inlaws you're anything but slack! I just need to change my mindset. I sit down all day at work, then I'm sitting feeding DD to sleep. I really need to come straight out and do 30 minutes before plopping in front of the telly or doing housework.

Im doing it. I registered several weeks ago.
I have a lot to lose (half my body weight o.O) and so far i'm feeling really motivated.
Hi ladies,
Im currently tossing up whether to do this program! i have about 20-30kg to lose (possibly more) and i've heard good things from you ladies about it! (and on the website too, but we all know they put their best examples on the website lol)
but its just a whole lot of money to spend when i really dont know anything about the program!
How often are you expected to work out? and for how long? are the meal plans easy to follow? do they allow sweets? how realistic is it all?
i just want to know if its worth the $200!
Honestly, it's not too different to information i've been told before, stick to a calorie aloowance, 1 hr workout every day.
unlike WW etc it will teach you to see the real values in food (cals, carbs, fats, proteins) instead of looking at points.
But it is the way it is presented that i like.
It hasnt properly begun and i have already learnt the things i do 'wrong' and the reasons i 'fail'.
If you struggle with mindset then it is worth it.
I never wanted to be a calorie counter, and TBH i probably wont do it 'hardcore' but i can already see its successes in me.
It will teach me how to fuel my body the right way, and show me that realistically, x amount of cals is a lot of food when you make the right choices.
a lot of your diet could really be your choic, just use the recipes and ideas as guidance.
i havent got the plan yet as rd2 doesnt start until june 4th.
there are also lots of fb groups that you can join: im in a 30plus group and a local one.
I've read the entire site lol. The faq's are good if you're wanting extra info.
I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and sign up. I know something needs to be done and it's a good idea when DH wants me to sign up, bugger the cost lol.
For me, it's really going to be about changing my mindset, and preparation. If I can make a lot of meals on a Sunday that'll help with the time issue. I also told DH he needs to be extra supportive, no bringing junk food or soft drink into the house, and not saying how much he'd love a bag of m&ms lol. If he wants it at work fine, but not when I can be tempted by it!

Absolutely Kaytee my DH worst enabler of them all. In any case if youre going to sign up, do it now or you'll be overloaded at the end of Preseason. Preparation starts now.
Id love a BBRS 12wbt group on fb if there are enough interested? I find groups easier to follow with large numbers than forums.

I read on her fb page that some of her preseason tasks cost more money as in you need a HRT her dvd set and some professionaly fitted sneakers :S i could do the dvds but new pricey shoes and a HRT.....can u do it without that? And is it a def 1hr a day? Could u do it in say two 30min blocks?
pls excuse the spelling mistakes on my galaxcy
You don't "need" a HRM, no, but it is encouraged. I just used mine for the first time and I feel like it gives me a benchmark.
And as for the other stuff Im not certain as it depends what you choose; whether your workouts will be home/outside/gym.
There are a few exercise channels on youtube (bodyrock is one) that you could use.
A lot of the 'gear' is suggested.
The professionally fitted sneakers are so that you are in shoes that fit you properly, reducing the likelihood of injury etc.
You can get them fitted at athlete's foot and them find them on websites for cheaper though. The same as you can use a cheapie HRM and not a polar.
And old member from here did the whole last round without a HRM and just walked/jogged 1hr each day.
The HRM is a tool that may help you learn what your body is doing but i wouldnt say its necessary.
