Mel the only reason I do it today was because I had to weigh and measure last saturday to get my measurements to Krys....can wait until Monday if that's what we're all doing.

to all of you. You sound liek you all want this so badly and that's what I think is cool about this. Motivation is catching and I believe in all of you. Making small changes is better than making none at all.

Lilias - Woo hoo on leaving work! I would love to do that. Am hoping to take next year off.

Mel - It doesn't really matter when you weigh in but if I have all of the new measurements by Mon then I will post together on Tuesday or Wednesday. I actually weigh in Saturday just because it suits. But it is nice to have everyones go up together I think

OMG OMG OMG. I just made the first step - I rang the local gym (well in town anyway haha) and booked an appointment for 4.30 today to be shown their stuff. Its $25 a week for membership (which is sorta pricey, but I allocate that money for personal stuff that DH and I want, and damn, I want to be fit!) so wish me luck!! Its my first time in a gym since i was about 12 going with my mum - and I know I'm soooo unfit and still have back and knee issues cos I'm so heavy - so eeeeeek!!!!! I'm a little scared....

Woo hoo Mel! That is awesome! Have fun and don't forget to bargain down their fees. Sometimes you can get them to waive the sign up fees.

Yes, that's what we all need to remember. Maybe we need to start making up a collection of motivational one-liners, lol.

Mel, I forgot to answer you about the gym stuff. That would be nice every now and then, but I don't really have the $$$ to go very often. Evenings would work, or weekends.
Oh, and about our walk/brunch tomorrow... silly me forgot it was Anzac Day, so we might have to make it the afternoon instead?

Good work Mel and you too Maz on the 3 walks!

Yesterday I did my pilates DVD (30 minutes). I really need to work out with DH best time for me to go to a class and whether or not I am happy to express one feed for DD for when I am there. Went over my calorie limit again yesterday. I thought I was doing ok but then once I put it in Calorie King I realised it was the hot milo and muesli bar I had for arvo tea that did it. I had already had a muesli bar for morning tea. I'm loving Carman's muesli bars, they are so yummy and all natural too, so good but just not two of them in one day it seems

Today's been good - vegemite on toast and a cup of tea for breaky and just had a slice of homemade banana bread and a glass of water for morning tea.

Hi Girls - I'm so excited today, I just weighed in and was expecting bad results only because AF arrived last night (grrr for timing) and I'm always heavier when I have AF. But, 900 grams down, wahooooooooooooo!!!!!!! It's the first loss since the initial amount I lostiin hospital when I first had Amelia. Just goes to show I was eating too much crap. AND I can get my engagement ring on, next on the list is my wedding band - the fluid is slowly going.....1 down, about 5 more to go lol.

yeah tomorrow arvo should be fine - if its not raining!!!!

Oh and about the money - I'll ask about member's guest fees - you might get it super cheap if you are coming in with a member?

Krys - I don't know if I can bargain down their fees - its a special at the moment..

I put some veggies and stuff into the SC this morning to make veg soup, then went out to the park for a picnic with DH and the kids and come home and OMG, that soup smells delish!!! I love my slow cooker and this cooler weather! And we have some yummy crusty rolls to have with it, just little ones so I can just have one and then some soup!
Plus I have been running sround with the kids for a few hours at the park and feeding some bird and ducks. I will probably do some serious cleaning later too! It feels good to be healthy and active! I must remember this when we're sitting down to something I shouldn't be eating! I did have one of the red mars bars (lower fat/smaller/lower sugar than normal ones) but they actually aren't too bad to have as a treat. It's actually been a week and a half since I''ve had any chocolate, which is my weakness, so yay me!! That's a record lately, lol!

    Hi guys

Well I went to the gym yesterday, and signed up for their month's trial - get my personalised program done on Wed. I signed up with another friend (yay for support!) and we are going to go in tomorrow, I signed DS up for swimming lessons so he starts that on tuesday, and then the program on Wed. I will probably go in on friday as well. I love that they have child care available - just wish it wasn't just in the mornings!!!

Also going for a LONG walk with Sterla today (yay!) and going to carry DS on my back (cos he loves it - me not so much) and push DD1 in the pram

Weighed in this morning - lost 3.1kg However - I did have gastro TWICE in this last week and hardly ate so it would all be fluid that was lost. DH however lost 2kg and he didn't have gastro at all, so pretty proud of him

    Have a good day everyone!!!
