I am so disappointed in myself. I stuffed myself with peanut m&m's tonight.
Even worse is that I have sat here for the last hour feeling so sick from eating so many, I didn't even really enjoy them but had some very upsetting news tonight and have realised that I am a really bad emotional eater
Oh well, off to bed and will start fresh tomorrow.
Well done Bengal on your weight loss, that's fantastic, you must feel really good about yourself![]()

Don't lose heart girls! Start a fresh today with a nice healthy breakfast
Bengal: Congrats on your weight loss! Well done!!!
Kim: That's an excellent point - I think it's when you restrict yourself from having certain foods that you start craving them even more.
AFM: Well, DH and I had burgers for tea last night - but they were gourmet burgers. So, so good, and according to the menu 95% fat free. DH got chips too, and I ate a few, but didn't go too overboard. I also had a small swig of his coke. So, not the healthiest tea, but I'm trying not to kick myself over it. One bad meal isn't going to change too much. This morning I've had a piece of toast and an apple and some water and feel nice and refreshed.
When is everyone weighing in? I think I'm going to do Monday mornings.
Bengal that is awesome - well done you!!!
Happy Chick - I'm sorry to hear you got some bad news
Gabber - don't kick yourself too much, wine isn't TOOO bad considering... would be worse if you had a serve of maccas fries
Sometimes foods sounds good to me.. lol... I got a packet of jelly beans in the pantry but haven't touched them... yet... hahahaha
My belly isn't sticking out past my boobs anymore, but that could be the two lots of gastro I've had this week!! HAHA!!!
I was so tempted to get maccas last night for dinner, but I had already cooked dinner (beef goulash with a small serving of rice) and DH wouldn't let me get maccas - good DH!!!
Had a few biscuits last night - probably more than I should have - but then got out the rice crackers instead and had those while watching "The Business of being born" with DH (he really liked it btw..)
Hoping to do some exercise today, cos I have really been slack since having gastro. Raining again today in tassie, so it'll have to be something indoors though.
Sterla - I was thinking, did you want to get together some nights and go to the gym (theogenes) and go for a swim or something and exercise that way? I'm sure they would be open at night... just something different at least!!! I can go after two of the kids are in bed, so after 7.30pm I'm pretty freeAnyway, was just a thought.
Oh, and I thought we were all weighin in on monday mornings?
Had some toast today with avocado (mixed with vinegar, salt and pepper.. yummo!) so its started ok... even though I had some juice cos I had no cold water - eek!
Have a good weekend everyone!
Hi everyone. I've been going okay. I did have 2 sausage & egg McMuffins yesterday and 3 split ice cream last nightbut I stayed within my calories count.
On other note I'm pregnant got theyesterday afternoon.

will try my best to be good this weekend....postiive vibes for us all![]()
Oh wow, congratulations Yowie!!!
Hi Girls - I went out for dinner for a friends bday last night, had the baked snapper and salad but did have chippies as well - I had vegetable rice paper rolls for lunch though and I had no dessert while everyone ate mud cake in front of me. Luckily I have a wheat intolerance so I can't eat lots of things even if I wanted to. Just as well!
Oh and Yowie congrats! You're keener than me, everything thinks we're nuts for wanting to go for number two at the end of the year when Amelia is 12 months old lol. No dieting for you now then, just lots of healthy eating. How exciting!
Hi everyone. I weighed in today. No weight loss but some cms loss which I am really happy about. Soccer was good last night but I did feel puffed - probably cause I hadn't done any exercise apart form that this week. DH and DS came and watched and I think DH was amazed at how much work you have to do on the soccer field. So feeling pretty good. We went out for b'fast and I was pretty good. The dish I chose did have some cream cheese but not too much and the dish was so nice that it was worth it.
I never get enough time to do personals. But I noticed some girls feeling like they have fallen off the wagon. But don't worry about it. Just pick yourself up and keep going. Maybe when we stray from our goals and post what we ate that we regretted we could also post what we could have eaten that would have satisfied our cravings or a technique we can do to have eaten less of it.
For example if I had hot chips (which I looove but never feel are worth it) I could have had oven chips with a nice low fat dressing. Or I could have put some in a bowl so I can't keep picking at them.
What do you guys think? After all we are here not only for support but to learn how to eat heathily when there are so many unhealthy options out there being marketed to us, and our lives are so busy.
Gabberqueen, 3 glasses of wine is probably better than 3 glasses of Bailey's and milk like I had!
Sterla, your burgers sound delish! And I agree we shouldn't beat ourselves up about littel slips. These changes we are trying to make will take time and they also need to be realistic. A burger or glass of wine or whatever is ok a few times a week!
Mel, lol @ your tummy not sticking out, I had a similar thought yesterday after my shower! But then I went and ate too many crackers and dip at 10.30pm.....Good on you for not having maccas and yay to your DH who whouldn't buy it for you!!
Yowie, congrats on the BFP!
Maz, that's 3 more walks than I have done! You're going well!
Krys, congrats on losing CM's I'd rather lose cm's than weight, with cm's your physically smaller, rather than just weighing less, lol!! I agree that soccer is a great game for fitness. Honestly, I actually hate the game and have played about twice in my whole life, but DH plays and loves it, and he can keep fit playing one game and one or two training sessions a week!
AFM, I have done ok. I made better choices for lunch at the shop, though it could have been better. Fruit and veg intake isn't going so great, lol! And I'm eating wayyy too much carbs, but hey, at least it's not complete junk. I had some crackers and dip last night which I shouldn't have, and it was 10.30pm too. Plus three bailey's and skim milk. A little celebration for the fact that I have finished work now, and I wan't have to go back for at least 4yrs! I am gonna be a full time sahm!! Yayyyyy!
Mel the only reason I do it today was because I had to weigh and measure last saturday to get my measurements to Krys....can wait until Monday if that's what we're all doing.
to all of you. You sound liek you all want this so badly and that's what I think is cool about this. Motivation is catching and I believe in all of you. Making small changes is better than making none at all.
Lilias - Woo hoo on leaving work! I would love to do that. Am hoping to take next year off.
Mel - It doesn't really matter when you weigh in but if I have all of the new measurements by Mon then I will post together on Tuesday or Wednesday. I actually weigh in Saturday just because it suits. But it is nice to have everyones go up together I think![]()
OMG OMG OMG. I just made the first step - I rang the local gym (well in town anyway haha) and booked an appointment for 4.30 today to be shown their stuff. Its $25 a week for membership (which is sorta pricey, but I allocate that money for personal stuff that DH and I want, and damn, I want to be fit!) so wish me luck!! Its my first time in a gym since i was about 12 going with my mum - and I know I'm soooo unfit and still have back and knee issues cos I'm so heavy - so eeeeeek!!!!! I'm a little scared....
Go Mel, go mel, go mel!!! I love going to the gym when I can afford it I will get a membership. It's great 'me' time. And I always feel good after going too!
Woo hoo Mel! That is awesome! Have fun and don't forget to bargain down their fees. Sometimes you can get them to waive the sign up fees.
Yes, that's what we all need to remember. Maybe we need to start making up a collection of motivational one-liners, lol.
Mel, I forgot to answer you about the gym stuff. That would be nice every now and then, but I don't really have the $$$ to go very often. Evenings would work, or weekends.
Oh, and about our walk/brunch tomorrow... silly me forgot it was Anzac Day, so we might have to make it the afternoon instead?
Go Mel!!! Woohoo![]()
