Mak & Double Trouble how/what would you like me to record your check in this week? Not sure by what you have posted (sorry). Thanks Mak, I'm loving doing the list too
Kaytee go for the and visualise lol it makes you feel good to!
AFM went for a walk in the botanical gardens and ds fell asleep in the pram (bonus) and I'm eating well, recording food and drinking water
900g loss for me this week. I’m now 68.9kg, down from 69.8 last week and 72 starting weight.
I am surprised. I had a crap week, DH was away, I got mastitis, I ate crap.
I’ve been going OK with my running. I have my regular route around our neighbourhood that I extend when I can. At the moment I’m doing a hilly 6km in about 50 mins about 4 times a week.
Workout today:
Shoveling and raking piles of straw in the chicken shed, worked up a sweat I tell ya.
Snacked on fruit, cheese & veg sanga drinking water

- Sent from my iPhone, more than likely while I should be doing something else!
Thanks girls for the encouragement and ideas. I have been struggling with lack of sleep, which in turn makes me want to sit and snooze! DD3 is the only one here who has a sleep so I should get the other 2 and make up some circuits in the yard. I do try and do as much physical exercise when I am with them. as for the trampoline, my pelvic floor is not in the best shape however I should really give it a bell.
I just spoke to a girlfriend who is doing a fun run in Novemeber... its only 5 kms and I can run so I might just aim for that.
Well done to all the losses, everyone is doing so well.
I have mowed the lawns today for an hour and took the kids down to the park. Must jump on the bike while dd3 is sleeping
Weighed myself at the gym today - 56.9.
I think that is a .5kg lost since last week but still a .5kg gain since the challenge started.
I'll look at the loss since last week and ignore the overall gain in the last fortnight lol.
I did 6km on the treadmill today. I ran 5km and walked the last 1km. I think that my cold is taking me out of me than I realised because it was a bit of a struggle. On the positive I checked my heart-rate on the sensor thingies on the treadmill and my recovery back to a low heart-rate was fairly quick.
OMy, I forgot to mention I rewarded myself for my hard work this year by buying a new pair of pants (since most of mine are falling off). Country Road were having a sale so I stopped in and bought a pair of wide legged pants. They were a size 6
I know that Country Road mark their sizes smaller to stroke their customer's ego but even so....... my ego is stoked. It's been a long time since I bought something with a 6 on it.
Sunny09, I'm sure you couldn't have put on 10kg in one week. I really hope your scales are buggered
Wow Onyx, size 6 and you're still trying to loose weight?! Get outta here! Even if you know they size their clothes on the small side (big side?) it's great to get a little boost.
I weighed in at 67.2, so back to where I started after gaining last week. I'm ok with that considering I still haven't got my food on track. I have to stop sabotaging myself, I bought a block of chocolate the other day....it as all gone Ahhhhhhh!!!
Anyhoo, I remembered I have the Skinny B*tch cookbook, all healthy vegan recipes. I just made a yummy daal, will try few more things from that this week. Thanks for your idea's too Cherished
On a positive note, just out of curiosity I pulled out my old scales, I got new ones earlier in the year and they weigh a little heavier than the old ones. So jumped on the old ones and I am back at my pre DD weight! Woohoo
lol Onyx, my ego would be stroked too. I am not sure my skeleton is a size 6... what are you doing in the weight loss thread?
Minimatron, if you can run without your pelvic floor hurting then it isn't as bad as you think. The only way to strengthen it is to exercise it... just make sure you go to the toilet first.
Doubletrouble, what was your starting weight? I assume you had a big loss this week.
I. am. dead. Just did a massive hilly walk with DD in the pram. My legs and arms have now turned to jelly and I'm all gross and sweaty lol. I lay out on the lawn with DD on my chest when I got home cos it was nice and cool - she thought it was hilarious, but then I had to get DH to help me up Eating is going well too, it's too hot here right now to want anything to fatty anyway, loads of water, fruit & vegies are actually really appetising at the moment.
Far out Onyx, I've never been a size 6! My ego would be incredibly stroked too, well done
ZF & MM, your workouts sound good today - yard work makes you find muscles you never knew you had lol.
BUT tomorrow is a new day - I'm taking my butt for a walk now and will start fresh with the eating tomorrow. I also have my 20 year school reunion at the end of October, so want to look fab for that!
Thanks so much girls for the support! I've done lots of work outside today like sweeping, weeding, mowing, etc and feel so much happier in myself physically for doing it.
I also question the reliability of my scales, 10kg is a lot isn't it! In the past fortnight my vices have been alcohol, dinner cooked by someone else, and plenty of snacking on DD's leftovers. Damn leftovers! I also did very little exercise and spent most of my time sitting around.
The sudden and tragic loss of my friend was indescribable but I feel much more at peace with his passing now. The break has really thrown me motivation-wise, but I am accountable in this thread, and i'd be really disappointed if I couldn't lose the post-baby weight this time around.
Well done to those who have had weight/cm loss and stay focused to those who have gained. I find it so hard to keep track, I have no idea how Cherished manages!! A woman of many talents
Better go feed the kidlets, then feed the man. With a suspected 10kg gain I could probably afford to skip tonights dinner
