Manhattan you are powering girl! 2 great losses 2 weeks in a row

    munchkin_mumma 1kg is fantastic!

minimatron 100g gain is nothing really, you'll probably see a bigger loss next week

ZF and Krysalyss I always think that no change is as good as a loss!! As long as you aren't going backwards (or too far backwards) I think you're onto a winner kwim I kinda lost the plot with tracking my food since Sunday but am back into it again today and hope to record a bigger loss next week.

    I've put on 300g. Fudge

It's my own fault and I could bore you all with 100 excuses, but I won't.

I'll be back for personals later

I can’t believe it, I’ve lost weight again this week. 1.2kg so I’m down to exactly 67kg now. That is/was my conservative goal. I guess I’ll have to go for my ambitious goal now, a 7kg loss down from 72 to 65kg. I honestly don’t know how I’ve done it. I eat crap, I have been doing my running but not for as long or as often as I really want to. I have gone low sugar, but not that low, I’m not sugar free or anything. I’m shaking my head, this is really baffling to me, but great though. Lucky me!

My 10km fun run is coming up fast (on 6th November) and doing it in an hour seems more and more unrealistic. The best I‘ve done is 7km in 51 mins. I’ve never actually run 10km or run for an hour before. And this week’s running has been crap again because I’ve had a really sore throat and have just been generally a bit unwell.

I’m such a downer, I’m so sorry, I’m doing great, I’ve lost all this weight and all I do is whinge and moan. I’m sorry, I don’t know what’s wrong with me atm. Feel free to slap me with a wet fish or something.

Down to 56.4. That's a .5 loss. I must remember to adjust my ticker

Epacris, you still have almost 6 weeks to train so I think you can achieve your fun-run goal. So much of training is in the mind so you just have to plug through the negative days and come out the other side. When it starts to hurt you need to tell the hurt to **** off. Even if it takes you longer than an hour running 10km is an amazing effort.

I did Zumba again today. I wasn't in the mood for the treadmill and I hate letting things get the better of me. It was better this time than last time but I still felt like an un-co buffalo. It didn't help that the girl in front of me was amazing and she had an awesome body. I wanted to hate her but she was so cheerful I couldn't.

    Hey all,

sorry I have been MIA - been fairly busy at work and with home stuff. I just finished cleaning my house, hanging our washing & cooking dinner for tonight & tomorrow night (I am working tomorrow), so having down time atm.

Well I lost what I gained last week, so 500g loss.

Well done to everyone else & to the ones who have gained or fallen off the wagon, it's not too late to get back on the horse

    Hi everyone,
weighed in at 73.2 this morning, an 800g loss so that is 2.2kg in total now. Not bad considering it wasn't a great week with me being sick.

Epacris, just do 10km. Forget about doing it in a certain time, just do 10km. Once you get past the hurdle of the distance it gets easier.

OK girls, I am curious about clothes sizes. I was looking at a size guide for a baby sling that said that 75kg (my starting weight) was a size 16-18, and 65 kg was a 12-14. For me 75kg is a size 14, 65kg is a size 10. I am 165cm tall. Is the size guide totally out or do I have really heavy bones?

    Hi everyone,

Just a quick post from me. I lost 300g this week - DD1 had her birthday which meant I was a little more relaxed about my eating for a day and AF is here which usually means that I weigh about 500g more anyway. So far I have lost a total of 4.5kg though so I am feeling pretty good about it all still. A loss is a loss ...

Just a quick check in. Lost 100gm. Have done 2x 30 min jogs this week. Need to do another tomorrow. Have had a couple of emotional days including emotional eating. Hopefully I'll learn to prepare healthy snacks for the down days. I dont think blueberry cheescake will help me lose weight.

So not much, but a start.

Oh dear, embarassed about how naughty I've been! Getting back into it seriously tomorrow!! I think I am about 500g above my start weight, so put on 1.5kg cause I'd lost 1kg in the first 10 days!

I'm going to have to weigh in tomorrow, my brother lost his job today and i've had no time to weigh. My priorties lie with him, as he is still very sad and lost over the passing of our friend 23 nights ago. My brother and him were best friends, and my brothers feels his loss all day every day so much more than I.
Tashy, emotional eating is a bastard, I know what you're saying. Losing his job has come at such a rotten time for my brother.
Well done on everyone who has lost this week, chin up to those who havn't, or not much.
FX I can have a good weigh in tomorrow too
    xx

Just quickly popping in. I have no idea how much I weigh this week, my scales are broken. New batteries don't make a difference so I've gotta go find a new set.

Sunny, I'm so sorry to hear about your brother and friend

Congrats to all who lost, positive vibes for the next week to all who gained!

    Checking in.....im STILL 75kg!! That's a 3 week plateau
I know it's good not to have gained, but this shows that something drastic is needed. Damn it!
I have a 30th on Saturday night, and have a new outfit for it, being slimmer wouldv'e really set it all off.

oh well, no pain no gain......

Hello Ladies So I said i'd be back with persies, so here goes:

Tashybabe - Welcome to the group, and well done on a loss in the first week, every bit counts!

Cherished - Yay for the loss, it's a good a start as any! Glad to hear the party was fantastic, and those cakes you made sound delish!

Munchkin Mumma - Great loss for you, not far off your goal now?!

Onyx - Sounds like you keep a really close eye on the food and water with that great loss, good on you!

Minimatron - grrr to the gain! It's a new week ahead though

ZF, Krys, Sunny and DT - I know it can be so disappointing not to see a change on the scales, but you are here and trying your hardest, and that's what matters. Here's to a great week ahead!

Hannanat - I hope this is a better week for you.

Epacris - way to go, awesome loss! I say aim for 65kg now

RhiChiChi - Yay for the loss, sounds like all that housework was a great workout too.

berrme - Keep up the great work. I agree with you on the sizes, but I always like to try on slings before committing to a size for that very reason.

JustMe - Half way to your goal, you're doing so well!

Mak - Good to hear you are in a better mind set.

Ausgirl - At least you can admit to your sins, now for some penance exercise

Kaytee - Bugger bout your scales packing it in. I got some new digital ones from ALdi a few weeks back, and I love them, only $20 too.

I hope I got everyone, apologies if I missed you, doesn't mean I love you any less.

Afm, well, from the looks of the list, I'm the biggest loser for the week, woo hoo! As Cherished said, I am powering, and I have to say, I am. I am so determined to lose this weight, and I am just in the zone. Watching what I'm eating, exercising everyday (nothing special, mainly walking or ex bike). No more excuses! And I'm still living my life too! DH took me out for a magnificent dinner on Saturday night. Melbourne girls, we went to Live Bait at the Docklands, and I have to say, it was probably the best meal I have ever had! If you like seafood, and get a chance, try it! And I even snuck in a Big M and bacon sandwhich for brekky the next morning. So whilst most days I am pretty strict with what I eat, I do allow some yummy treats too. Still not lollies or choccies though

Looking forward to another great week ahead, and continuing this journey with you all. Go us

Yay to all the loses!! I know its frustrating to either have no change or a small gain, but I hope everyone can stay positive and not give up!

Manhattan: My big goal for this challenge is to lose another 7kg. The goal in my ticker is the first goal I set a couple of months back. I wanted to break it down into smaller goals so I didn't freak out! It really keeps me motivated to see I have almost reached my first goal Well done on your loss so far. You sound like you are super dedicated. Thats awesome!

I joined up with Calorie King last night (thanks to whoever mentioned it earlier in the thread) Will see how I go, I have never counted calories before it always seemed to hard. Hopefully seeing what I'm eating written down will help me to stay on track, the eating has been the hardest part for me so far. Will suss out the site a bit more tonight. I'm over my cold now so might attempt the gym tonight

ETA: How many times do I wanna say GOAL haha

Hi guys, well I was all good yesterday morning then at lunch time I started to feel so ill. I was literally cradling my head in my hands. Today is no better unfort although we have guests coming so I've had to get out of bed ( to seeing them to feeling like poo). The good news is that I can't stomach any food today so at least I don't have to count today

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
