Hi girls, I must confess I am shocking when it comes to personals and even checking in daily... I must make more of an effort! I am doing fine food wise but exercise is my downfall! I just dont do it! I run after the girls all day. DD3 is up every night and I am tired and lazy and I would rather sit on my bum when shes sleeping than exercise! I need to change this. Its always been my downfall. I lack motivation and consistancy! I have an exercise bike sitting at the back door so really there is no exxcuse for me not to sit on it and pedal. Im going back to fitness class on Monday nights after being sick for a few weeks. Hopefully that will motivate me! Not even the thought of a full body massage gets me excited.... quite sad really! The reasons I want to loose weight is besides being healthy... is that I am a mum of 3 girls and I want to be a good role model for them, show them the importance of eating well and exercise and feeling good about yourself. I want to be able to go to the beach with them and wear a bikini.... not shorts and a t-shirt. I know they are too young to worry about this but if I start now it will be better for me in the long run! Anyway thats my vent.... I just need to find something in life that excites me and can get me moving!

Good morning everyone No exercise for me yesterday, and probably none today, being fathers day and all. Eating, hmm not the best. Have had some dark chocolate, mainly during late night feed But last night I almost made myself a hot chocolate, went for peppermint tea instead
C25K is awesome! I started in April (thanks to another BB thread) and now I'm running 20-25 mins 2-3 times a week. I'm still amazed as I have never ever run before, so anyone thinking of giving it a go, go for it!!
Hope you all have a lovely Sunday

    I've stolen all Krysalyss's ideas

I checked out the c25k program and I joined carlorie king. Fabulous ideas, both of them. Thank you!
Oooh cool! Now this way if I fall of the wagon I don't have to feel guilty as I can live vicariously through you!
Well my day wasn't great today. I ate quite a lot of junk food. But I was also pretty active at work. Not enough to make up for it, but enough to lessen the guilt. Looking forward to this week. I have lots of goals both work & family wise and health wise. Should be a good week!

^^ oops..... good on you for being honest though!

Great start to the day for me - yoghurt for breakfast then an apple when I got to work, a skim milk cappuccino (aiming to give these up), six glasses of water and a pita bread wrap with salad, chicken breast and a scrape of avocado. Got strawberries to eat later then having Italian fish stew for dinner tonight (low fat version) and exercise with my personal trainer tonight.

Hope everyone else is ok - great weather in Melbourne at the moment!

Yeh, mega oops! I'm not going to dwell on it though. Today I've had a coffee (trying to cut back) smoothie with banana, blueberries, natural yogurt and honey, and i've got a big pot of veggie soup on the stove at the moment. Aiming for the gym tonight

Sorry ladies Im shocking at personals, but I do love ya

Take my hat off to you motivated ladies that make it to the Gym or out jogging. Im way to lazy to do that- I'll stick to my walks and yoga and hope for the best.- my feet are sore from my shape ups I must have been walking really flat footed for along time.

Veggie soup- great idea! I'll get on to that too
Anybody know how much green tea you can have while BF?

    Hi All

RhiChiChi - sounds like you are having a great day foodwise. I am drooling after reading your post

So far, I am going pretty well managing my food. As yesterday was Father's Day it was a bit tricky so I probably ate more than I should have but made much healthier choices than I would have otherwise (hommus, rice crackers and fruit instead of chocolate cake and biscuits like everyone else ) and ate smaller portions than I would have otherwise. We went over to the island for the day though so we did spend a good part of it walking and playing in the sand. Finished off with fish and chips but I opted to forgo the chips and have a salad instead. So not a great choice but not the end of the world. I also made a big pot of veggie soup last night and separated it into five portions so I have lunch this week sorted. Feeling really good and positive. I think I can do this! It's nice to feel like I can be successful.

I have dropped a kilo just by eating well and cutting the tea and bickies!

I knew it was a problem, but I didn't realise it was such a big one!

Hi everyone! Well I finally got my new calorieking profile up tonight. I did it before dessert so I could see if I deserved it or not Luckily I could so I am now eating a mini magnum type ice-cream and not feeling guilty at all. Yay! I was supposed to go to soccer training tonight but totally forgot and went to the gym instead (I'm going to be in trouble from the coach!). But it was good at the gym. I did a C25K session and then 25 mins on the bike so all up about 300 cals.

Audax - that is an awesome loss so quick. Congrats!
Just Me - Nice self-control yesterday. You sound so happy and positive. We know you can do it! It is such a great idea to set up your lunches. That is a real downfall of mine to not prepare lunch and then end up eating crap.
Double - Walks and yoga are great too. What kind of yoga do you do? I want to do it but the classes here are on a day I can't do at the moment. Maybe later
Munchkin - I had a shocker of a day yesterday but I actually think the most successful weight losers learn how to get back up after a bad day. So well done!
Rhichichi- Sounds like you have a great meal plan underway!

OK. Well see you all tomorrow!

Can I be sneaky & pop in for 2 weeks? I'm nearly at my goal weight (1kg to go by Sat 17th - DD's 1st b'day, 13kg lost so far) but I've been in the general weight loss thread... but you've all migrated over here so I'm a bit lonely. And I just.need.to.do.the.last.bit!
And I work so much better with a bit of company from you inspiring ladies Will try have a read back so I can keep up!

And if DS sleeps (he's dropping his day nap and oh lordy I want him to keep it... just 2 more weeks little man, 2 more weeks!)... then I'll cycle now & tonight.
I'm also being very good with my food - have hidden the chocolate & other temptations away in a box.

17kg Way to go girl! Thats awsome

Im not sure what kinda the yoga is. I try to do the sun salute but most of the time just end up doing basic moves- trying to faltten that baby bump at the mo so really concentrating on tummy excersises then I'll work the rest.

I ate 3 home made choc chip cookies last night- I knew baking with the kids was going to be a problem so I'll just have to work out something to balance it.
Baby has hit the 3 month unsettled period now so not getting much execise done- I'll try get out for a walk later

    X X

Hi everyone! I have had a pretty good day. It was a challenge today firstly as Tuesday are pretty much impossible to get in exercise and secondly it is playgroup day which means cakes, cakes and more cakes. I was very restrained though and just had a coffee. I did have a couple of bikkies in the afternoon though and a few other half naughty things (like a bit of cashew dip on my sandwich, and some Quorn dippers which are pretend chicken nuggets). So I am about 100 cals over today but have a big exercise day planned tomorrow so it should even out. Am enjoying a nice camomile tea now. I find it helps to have a herbal tea after dinner to stop the dessert cravings. So my planned day for tomorrow is a quick gym trip in the morning before work. Once DS is at kindy I get about 30 mins free so I want to do a C25K session. Then tomorrow night I have my last soccer training session of the year - grand finals this weekend! I have soup packed for lunch and so many apples and oranges in the fridge that I need to get into a couple of those. Have a good day tomorrow everyone!

Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Me Too!!! I am late I know, but I am in too. My stupid scales fancy weight watchers digital ones have been crapping me something shocking for a few weeks, Depending on when I stand on them, or if I move them, or pick them up and shake them etc, I was getting 3kg variances so didn't know what to believe. So I bought a pair of good old fashioned mechanical wheel ones and am starting at around 67.5ish kg, though am hoping that extra .5 is fluid from my first AF that caught me unawares today after a lovely 14month BF absence My initial goal is to get back to my pre DD's weight of 63kg pre DD1. But ideally I'd love to crack the big 60 and get to 59. Have never been below 63 since I was pre-pubescent, so would love that. Krysalyss - Belfie - I remember you from that initial weight loss kick - Go Gals! You have done awesomely!

Yeah, it’s not going to be a good week for me this week, DH is away for work (he’s been away heaps lately and there’s a couple more weeks of it to go). I miss him, especially at dinner/bath/bed time but also WRT eating and exercise, that’s bad without him here too. I’ve been sleep deprived today so I’ve been craving all sort of things (and given in ‘cos I feel so crap) and I can’t run because I need someone to watch the kids. My gorgeous friend Jen is coming over on Thursday to watch DS2 for me while I do an hour run and I’ll try to do a nice brisk walk with DS2 in the pram tomorrow so it’s not all bad news. But I really want to be running 5 days a week atm.

I looked up DS1’s birth records and I was shocked (and disgusted) that I now weigh what I weighed when I was full term pregnant with him. That’s 10 extra kg in 5 years!
