Well looks like it's been a pretty good week on the whole, lets keep it up girls
Minimatrom, I agree with Krys, shapewear can work wonders, help us squeeze into an outfit, and smooth out any lumps and bumps. I'm sure you'll look gorgeous in whatever you decide to wear!
So the weekend is upon us all once again. Like many others I suspect this is when I find it most difficult to be good, food wise that is. I already msg dh and told him to pick up some nandos on the way home, terrible I know, but I swear I'll only eat a handful of chips! On the flip side though, DH does like to get out and about, so hopefully we'll get a nice long bike ride in, weather permitting of course.
What does everyone else have on for the weekend? And do you find weekends hard to deal with exercise and food wise?
Hope you all have a great weekend, whatever you have planned xo
This weekend has the quarter finals of the world cup too! Uh-oh its gonna be so hard to get time to get off the couchlet alone pass by the nibbles, beer etc Good thing I started the C25K yesterday, I'll have another run on wednesday night and ........
(nah kidding, looking forward to my walk-run tomorrow)
Thanks girls.... will go out and have a look at shape wear, while the girls are at mums this weekend. I actually havent tried on my dress since I have had dd3.... Im just assuming that it wont fit! I'll go try it on!!!
Im on the hunt for another exercise bike!!! Needing something nice and quiet and compact. My other one is pretty old and rusty and I just feel like upgrading!!! My old one is with the handlebars that move and the wheel fans you as you ride!!!
Mini you might get a pleasant suprise when you try on your dress - shapewear is great too.
I got on the scales today - lost all of my regain weight and 200g so currently sitting at 75.8! Yay!
Ran 4 km today before pump. Then I realised I had set up at the front of the room before running and I had awful inner thigh sweat. I felt really self-conscious bending over.
Weight seems to be going up
I really should get out a tape-measure and measure myself and stop looking at the scales. I feel fitter this week than last week but the scales disagree with me *sigh*
My gym is going to get Sh' Bam soon. I'm assuming it will be more fun than Zumba. The demo day will be taught be the chick who used to do Oz Aerobics so I'm a bit excited about that.
Howdy all! I also find the weekend harder foodwise if we have social stuff but better exercise wise as we often hit the park, walk down the beach and I get to leave the kids home with DH whilst I go for a walk/run. However this weekend we have a BBQ that should be a little blow out but not OTT.
Loss of 150g for me this week.....hope I can get moving a bit more with more light at night! xx
Well, so far for me a bad start - ate like a piggy on Thursday then went out with work for a function and scoffed Thai food and drank lots of alcohol including shots :-/ )I haven't drunk shots since before being pg with my DD).... anyway back on it today. GL to everyone for the rest of the week.
Just a quick update - I think the scales are FINALLY moving for me. I jumped on this morning for a quick check and I think they are a touch under 64K now so I'm pretty happy - I think it's been a good couple of years since I was in the 63's (not that being pregnant was really gonna help me get under lol). I hope they continue to move and that I can actually post a loss this coming week![]()
I finally did some exercise - yay! Actually it's a bit of a yay for just leaving the house. I've gone back to week 2 of C25k. 3.10km in 30min. Not great, not bad. I figure anything is better than nothing. I really need to do some yoga though. this mummy tummy is depressing.
Food wise I haven't been too bad. The benefit f being gluten free is I can't eat Macca's or things like that. I do need to make some healthy snack things though.
Hi Ladies, hope everyone is having a good week so far, only a couple of days til our next check in!
A so/so week for me so far. Eating hasnt been the best, but still keeping up the exercise. Last night before I picked DD up, I ran 5 laps around the footy oval, and also walked another 5. Took about half an hour, not sure how far that would be, anyone know how far it is around a footy oval???? DH is on night shift this week, so I am pretty good of a night time when he is not around, as I am happy to have a lite n easy meal, whereas he likes his meat and veg massive serves.
LionsandBears - love the new name and avi! And I hear ya on the depressing mummy tummy, I hate that I have to tuck my tummy into my pants, lol! Haha, that sounds worse than it really is!
xo
Sorry ladies been MIA with DD's birthday and my mum being here.
Food wise has not been great the last week so will be back on track this week and working towards my goals... it's all looking up![]()
Hi Gals, I have done my best so far in the whole.... 6 weeks( terrible I know). I went to tummys hips and thighs last night and today I did interval training on my bike.
Food wise its not great. DD1 has been vomiting all night/day and DD3 has the runs, so I have just queezed in food... albeit healthy!
Tash... love the new name x o
Lol at tucking your tummy into your pants. I don't think I have a mummy tummy (definitely not if it is something that needs tucking into your pants). I have a giant bum instead.
Pretty happy here. Food and exercise has been good. AND I fit into my size 12 pants! Woohoo. Just one dress size to goHopefully my weight will be close to 71kg on Thursday

Hi guys. I have totally fallen off the wagon and pretty much ate my way through the weekend. And now AF is here. Feeling fat and frumpy. Got to the gym yesterday and hoping for today as well. Time to get back on track.
I have had a crappy week too. Expecting a gain this week. Trying to get back on track today.
((Hugs)) krysalyss & mm, I too have had a crappy week - exercise been pretty good but food & alcohol, terrible! I just put it all behind me this morning and am starting over.
I've been struggling for motivation a bit lately.
I feel like I've been plugging away for ever and getting nothing much except an hour of pain 6 times a week.
I ran/walked 8km in 52 minutes today and while I was on the treadmill I read an article about celebrity weightsTurns out Elle McPherson is 30cms taller than me and weighs less
