Step into Life Group Outdoor Personal Training

    Hi ya'll,

A few weeks ago I joined Step into Life Group Outdoor Personal Training (SIL) and have not looked back! I attend a MOnay evening Toning class only (1hr) due to child minding and money constraints but I have also had my diet looked at by my PT and have tweaked some areas! (I was a carb addict....) I have also increased my own time spent walking the dog (instead of 'waiting' till DH is doing nothing or asking his permission I just tell him I am taking the dog out for a walk!!), keep a food diary and am loving every minute of the new way of living!!!

Anywaaays, I was kinda hoping there are other BB members who also do the same training or similar. Would love to chat etc. Please let there be other peoples!!!!

    I look forward to chatting.

I have done this before and loved it!!

Was training before i got preg with DS and stopped as i was scared of mc as had 1 previous, then started doing mums and bubs sessions when he was 8 weeks old and stopped 2 weeks ago as mums and bubs sessions stopped as most girls had gone back to work and cold to have babies out at 0930 in winter.

Had an ace trainer, was doing 1 cardio and 1 toning session a week.
cardio we would do varied sessions including boxing. toning included resistance bands and fit ball in sessions pre baby.

Great concept love it, hope to get back to it eventually

I was wondering, if you don't mind, how much the step into life programs are, and what kind of ones you can do? We have them in my area and I was thinking about giving it a go?? Ta

depends on how many sessions a week you do, as more sessions mean each session is cheaper.
i was doing 2 a week and paid $126 a month, (is also joining fee) you can usually go to a few sessions for free to try, membership is great as lifetime membership get a pack with drink bottle tshirt etc.
My area has cardio, toning, boxing, resistance, stretch/flexibility ummm varys different times of year and differnt trainers and what area wants.

Google them and get number for local area

see thats the ace thing about it you work at you level so groups have people of all fitness levels so some run, some walk some do both. If they are doing a session with a road run or walk the fittest ones go further so may do 8 km run and others 5 km walk!!! i was sooooooo unfit but loved classes as you do want to push yourself as people are better than you, if u cant do something they give you a different exercise.

and areas have diff time sessions my area has 0600 sessions, 6pm 7-30 pm diff days and sat 8am

Life membership for me was $77 so if I move I can juts start at one in my next suburb!

I am doing toning and it includes a mix of toning stuff with fit ball or bands / weights and I think sometimes boxing plus cardio throughout! I think I am paying $17 week for my one session and then for two a week it is $14 each session and then 3 a week it is $12 a session!

Gotta love the tshirt!!! My PT has also given me some fantastic diet advice and is ALWAYS saying through the hour session, if it hurts - stop and shake it out - work at your own pace! I love Jo!!!!

Sweetbliss - I have not done anything for 20 years and sometimes when the go for a quick run, I walk. If we have to do a minute of reps...I do what I can. I only use 2kg weights....everything is tailored to your level of fitness and ability.

I could not do situps last Monday night and ended up laughing till I nearly cried....my PT said that laughing THAT hard was good work on my abs! I think she was joking but I did not feel embarrised or worried and my training partenr for that excercise who was much fitter than me just laughed with me! Damn C-sections!!!
