I am back on the wagon lol like my new ticker? I thought it would motivate me some more - it's kind of scary to admit I have 20kgs to lose!!
Sopdet - I just looked up 12wbt because I had no idea what it was lol and it looks really good! Isn't Michelle Bridges doing well for herself now - she seems to be everywhere! I would love to join for the next round but I am a bit concerned about the cost of it. Did you find the support and infomration worth the money? What are the recipies and workouts like? Sorry for picking your brain about it lol. Congratulations on your loss this week!!!
Appletree - the I just looked at the 12wbt site and the pre-round tasks (or something like that) start April 27th and the round actually kicks off on May 23rd. Sorry to hear that your morning was painfull - I hope the rest of your day has improved!!
Raupe - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You must be on top of the world knowign that you are past half way - what an achievement!!!!!
~Ash~ the support was great, you have access to the forum as well as being able to email specific issues to her. The cost isn't that bad either $199 up front or $20 a week for the 12 weeks. The recipes are great, yummy healthy food that is quick and easy to make. The workouts are brilliant, she gives you different options for how you exercise
Class - she lists what type of classes to do
Gym - what machines to use, how long for, what settings
DVD - what type of DVD you should be using
Outdoor - how to do the exercises outdoors, like setting up "stations", using seats etc
Indoor - how to do the exercises etc in your own lounge room
She does weekly videos as well as regular chat room chats with us all (she is on live feed, we're in the chat room asking questions).
I found it brilliant. My weekly shop has gone down in price, because I'm not buying pre-processed foods, I source most of my stuff organically and locally (fruit'n'veg was $50 last week & that will keep me going for close to 2 weeks).
Pre-season starts in May and then kicks off in June, you do 4 weeks of pre-season stuff which is essential, really helps with the mindset.
Sorry, Sopdet, another one picking your brain lol:
Do you NEED to be in a gym to follow the program? I can't afford being in a gym right now... Can you do all the exercises at home or outdoors without joining a gym?
she has various programs for the exercise, as I stated above in my message she gives you 5 different options for each day (classes, gym, home, outdoor, dvd), for each level of fitness.
I do circuits with girlfriends on some weekend and we just use a skipping rope, boxing gloves, hand weights, towels.
Ash, great new ticker! I hope it keeps you motivated!!!
I've had a look at the 12wbt, it looks pretty good! If I could afford it, I'd jump right in, but we're pretty low on $$$ atm so I'll have to go at it the old fashioned way!
Self indulgent post for me today ladies- I'm a bit fatigued at the moment, felt that familiar ache in the legs and back. It's something I really have to keep an eye on as I can fall pretty quickly into a heap. So I'm resting from exercise at the moment. Which is bugging me!!! I'm itching to get out and go, but I know ti wouldn't be good for me right now. I'm going to start again on Saturday. I'll be crawling the walls by then LOL. So. I haven't lost any weight this week. BUT I haven't put any on either, so that's a good sign.
As terrific news, I finally went and got my hair done today! Chopped half of it off and it's a nice chocolate brown now. I feel so much lighter, it's just above my shoulders, but long enough that I can still put it up! So that made me feel a bit better
I have missed you guys so much!! So sorry I just dropped off the planet, we were shifting apartments & I thought internet would be an easy thing to connect to in the new flash apartments. WRONG! But anyway, that was the only bump in the road, the rest of the move went beautifully (I did it on my own with the driver & the 2 girls, apparently DH was too busy to help - another story), but anyway, it's all done now & we are settled & happy & everything is wonderful!
So I have big news, I dropped 1kg this week!!!! I have changed my exercise routine thanks to the Zumba dvd's & also the gym & I have really slowed it down too as my knee was just not coping with such hard-core cross-trainer workouts. I am so excited!!! I am only 1.1kg to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can smell the clothes at the finish line!!! bahahah
I have just had a quick skim of the posts & it looks like some fabulous weight losses this week - great effort girls!
