Onyx, I've got the same problem, my boobs are shrinking and all my lovely expensive bras are not fitting very well, the first time I have ever spent a lot of money on bras too! That's really annoying about your jeans, but must be great too! Hope your shoulder is feeling better soon! Ouch...

Raupe, that is brilliant!! Love your stuff, I am so glad you have come back to us because you are very inspiring! I am going to keep trying to catch you!

As for me, I am having the ****test morning ever, I go out drinking about once a year, and it happened to be last night. Df has been less than kind to me, the kids were in our bed from 5am climbing everywhere, pulling my hair, taking the blanket, and pushing me right to the edge. Df got up with them at 7:30, and let me sleep until 8:30 at which point he decided I had had enough sleep and sent the kids back in, giving ds a whistle to wake me up with! Grrr... I then got very angry and now our day has gotten off to a terrible start!

Nawww, thanks everyone! Feels good to be back!
    I can't believe I'm finally past the 20kg mark.

Onyx - I was thinking of doing the C25K, too! When are you starting? We could be C25K-buddies!

I've lost weight this week Also revamped my weight loss ticker to what I want to lose during the 12wbt this round. Still a way to go but hopefully once this headcold goes I'm back into it. Also signed up for the next round. Going to keep at the exercise between this round finishing and the next one starting. I have an ultimate goal to get to a certain weight and size. I'm lucky I've got some amazing support for this (even when I'm feeling slack they help!).

    Hi ladies!!!

I am back on the wagon lol like my new ticker? I thought it would motivate me some more - it's kind of scary to admit I have 20kgs to lose!!

Sopdet - I just looked up 12wbt because I had no idea what it was lol and it looks really good! Isn't Michelle Bridges doing well for herself now - she seems to be everywhere! I would love to join for the next round but I am a bit concerned about the cost of it. Did you find the support and infomration worth the money? What are the recipies and workouts like? Sorry for picking your brain about it lol. Congratulations on your loss this week!!!

Appletree - the I just looked at the 12wbt site and the pre-round tasks (or something like that) start April 27th and the round actually kicks off on May 23rd. Sorry to hear that your morning was painfull - I hope the rest of your day has improved!!

Raupe - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You must be on top of the world knowign that you are past half way - what an achievement!!!!!

~Ash~ the support was great, you have access to the forum as well as being able to email specific issues to her. The cost isn't that bad either $199 up front or $20 a week for the 12 weeks. The recipes are great, yummy healthy food that is quick and easy to make. The workouts are brilliant, she gives you different options for how you exercise

Class - she lists what type of classes to do
Gym - what machines to use, how long for, what settings
DVD - what type of DVD you should be using
Outdoor - how to do the exercises outdoors, like setting up "stations", using seats etc
Indoor - how to do the exercises etc in your own lounge room

She does weekly videos as well as regular chat room chats with us all (she is on live feed, we're in the chat room asking questions).

I found it brilliant. My weekly shop has gone down in price, because I'm not buying pre-processed foods, I source most of my stuff organically and locally (fruit'n'veg was $50 last week & that will keep me going for close to 2 weeks).

Pre-season starts in May and then kicks off in June, you do 4 weeks of pre-season stuff which is essential, really helps with the mindset.

Sorry, Sopdet, another one picking your brain lol:

Do you NEED to be in a gym to follow the program? I can't afford being in a gym right now... Can you do all the exercises at home or outdoors without joining a gym?

    *Brain-pick over*

she has various programs for the exercise, as I stated above in my message she gives you 5 different options for each day (classes, gym, home, outdoor, dvd), for each level of fitness.

I do circuits with girlfriends on some weekend and we just use a skipping rope, boxing gloves, hand weights, towels.

Ash, great new ticker! I hope it keeps you motivated!!!

I've had a look at the 12wbt, it looks pretty good! If I could afford it, I'd jump right in, but we're pretty low on $$$ atm so I'll have to go at it the old fashioned way!

Self indulgent post for me today ladies- I'm a bit fatigued at the moment, felt that familiar ache in the legs and back. It's something I really have to keep an eye on as I can fall pretty quickly into a heap. So I'm resting from exercise at the moment. Which is bugging me!!! I'm itching to get out and go, but I know ti wouldn't be good for me right now. I'm going to start again on Saturday. I'll be crawling the walls by then LOL. So. I haven't lost any weight this week. BUT I haven't put any on either, so that's a good sign.

As terrific news, I finally went and got my hair done today! Chopped half of it off and it's a nice chocolate brown now. I feel so much lighter, it's just above my shoulders, but long enough that I can still put it up! So that made me feel a bit better

    Hello Ladies,

I have missed you guys so much!! So sorry I just dropped off the planet, we were shifting apartments & I thought internet would be an easy thing to connect to in the new flash apartments. WRONG! But anyway, that was the only bump in the road, the rest of the move went beautifully (I did it on my own with the driver & the 2 girls, apparently DH was too busy to help - another story), but anyway, it's all done now & we are settled & happy & everything is wonderful!

So I have big news, I dropped 1kg this week!!!! I have changed my exercise routine thanks to the Zumba dvd's & also the gym & I have really slowed it down too as my knee was just not coping with such hard-core cross-trainer workouts. I am so excited!!! I am only 1.1kg to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can smell the clothes at the finish line!!! bahahah

I have just had a quick skim of the posts & it looks like some fabulous weight losses this week - great effort girls!

    BBL for persies.

Sopdet - I love the sounds if the program - dp and I recently made ourselves a new budget (so we can save for a house) and he agreed that if we are sticking to it perfectly by then, it'll be ok for me to join round two

Krystals - how exciting to get your hair done, I love that feeling! Do you find it kind of motivating? I hope you get to have an excellent workout on Saturday - I love the feeling when my body is craving exercise (except when I can't do any I guess lol)

Jayne - so glad that the move went well - congratulations on the loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How exciting that you only have so little to go - what is your reward to yourself when you reach it?

Me - I have another aasignment due this afternoon that silly me has been avoiding like crazy. So I'm going to be bundled up on the computer all day (not on BB I hope lol) trying to get it finished. I've promised dd that as soon as I submit it we are takin her bike down to the park - so I might do laps of the park while she is playing to get a bit if exercise in
Apart from that we have a big weekend ahead and I'm really going to try and exercise my will power. We have a champagne breakfast birthday party tomorrow morning (which I'm certain will end up lasting most if not all of the day) and then a birthday BBQ on Sunday - lots of tasty things but I'm going to make a point to put my goals first.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend ahead!!!!!!!

well, I have a plan. It's a lofty dream, but I think I can do it- I'm pretty determined to! My plan is to enter the Sydney Running Festival's Half Marathon in September!

I'm starting off pretty unfit, but they have a pre-training, training guide (HA!) that I started and so far so good! I just ordered a HR monitor, so will be able to monitor my training and build my endurance.

Nervous, but motivated! Back for persies later!

    Hey Ladies,

KRYSTALS _ WOW I am really, really, really excited for you! It sounds like a great thing to work towards. September isn't overly far away, but it's still long enough to be able to build up the endurance/stamina to be able to finish it. How far is it?? I can't wait to follow your progress on this. I have a few friends who were approaching milestone birthdays & trained for marathons. One goes in 2 weeks time to do hers, another did hers late last year. Sounds like you have really looked into it & are getting all the gadgets to help you through.

ASH _ I love the ticker! Did you get the assignment finished & submitted on time? You sound like you have lots of food orientated functions this weekend - lets hope there are some healthier alternatives there, but you can't deprive yourself of EVERYTHING!

SOPDET _ Your motivation & drive just bowls me over. You are so on your game, I love reading your posts - even if they do make me feel like I'm lazy! hahaha

RAUPE _ YOu haven't just cracked the 20kg mark, you've blown the whole number right out the ballpark!!! What a fantastic achivement darl, I'm so happy for you.

APPLETREE & ONYX _ I'm another boob-shrinking violet......... But I'm quite happy with that. Alan is less than impressed with it though. lol

AFM _ Well I had a big two nights in a row with splurging. Thursday night Alan & I had a Tim Tams & Bailey's date after dinner & then last night we had dinner at friends house who made lasagne for dinner, complete with wine & ****tails. I supplied bread rolls (which I didn't touch) & kids & adults desserts. I made the kids icecream sandwich brownies & the adults a caramel apple pudding with icecream...........:rolleye

Have a great Saturday night Peeps!

    xx

Wow, some fantastic results going on in here! I am so impressed with you all!!!

Krystals, what a great challenge! Good luck!

Ok, thats all i can manage, off to bed now! So sad that i am in bed at 9:30pm on a sat night!

APPLETREE _ Safety in numbers last night my friend............. I was tucked up safe & warm at 9:30pm too!!! Did you have a good time away??

I am so impressed with myself!!! (I know that sounds really strange, lol), but today Alan took the kids for a swim so I went and hit the gym. I had a bit of a treadmill 'face off' with myself & I'm surprised to say that I can run 5km NON STOP!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so amazed & empowered!!! I didn't even collapse afterward, but I do admit I'm feeling my legs now I have cooled down. I am going to try do it again tomorrow, but I'm not sure I have THAT much stamina.

You might surprise yourself Jayne, I was pretty sore after my first run yesterday, but as soon as I started this afternoon, I felt brilliant! Yesterday I ran 3km in 34mins (I know, I'm slow, but we all have to start somewhere!) and today I did 3.7km in 29mins 42! Just try it, your body can do amazing things!!! In the big scheme of what we ladies can push our bodies to do, running 5kms when you know you've already done it once, will be a cinch!

Wow Jayne and Krystals, great work on the running!! You guys are awesome

I have done absolutely no exercise this week, didn't make it to the gym once I need to get my arse into gear, i am starting full time work again from 2 May for a project which will go until August/September, so i need to work out a new routine. At least it will be easier for me foodwise as i will have 5 days a week of good eating, and only 2 with DF.... I know we have some excellent showers in our building so maybe i will start doing lunchtime running and give DF my gym membership.

I did some great shopping this weekend, got myself some fab boots and a new winter top from Witchery I will weigh in tomorrow, but its likely not to be great so the only way i will record is if by some miracle its a good weigh in!

    Hey guys!!!

Finally have some time for personals!
ZF: I hope you'll enjoy your trip with your family! We'll try to behave while you're gone! (yeah right!) *rubs hands together in manic fashion* Bwahahahah!!!
Sopdet: Thanks for all the info!
Krystals: Hope you're feeling better soon. I know when I injured my knee and couldn't exercise, it really drove me insane...
I can't believe you wanna do a half-marathon in September! You are CRAZY! Lol! But in all honesty, I want to participate in the City-to-Bay Fun run (Adelaide) in September, too! That's 12km!! I must be crazy, too...
Jayne: Woot woot! Great work on that loss! You are SOOO close now! Eeek, how exciting!!! Oh, and great effort on that run!
Ash: I hear ya on the assignments... I have been avoiding mine for two weeks now
Appletree: Haha, like Jayne said, saftey in numbers! I was in bed by 9.30, too! See, all that exercise exhausts us That's my story and I'll stick with it! Oh, how did the weigh in go?

AFM: I have to weigh in tomorrow... Didn't have any time today. As I mentioned to Krystals, I'm thinking about doing the City-to-Bay fun run in Adelaide in September. It is about 12km, so I'll need to get in shape asap. Today was my first day of the C25K program, and I think I did pretty well! I'm actually looking forward (!) to running on wednesday! Yeah, that's right peeps, Raupe's got running fever. Who would've thought....

*picturing my little ticker snail with running shoes* Bahaha, how cute!!
