Krysalyss, great goals! I envy your speed!!!!

Appletree, you should be so, so proud of yourself, even in your skin you can see how much healthier you are! I hope you're feeling heaps better too!

Belfie, I'm going to stand by my chocolate when AF is here 'rule'. It's not guilt, it's mandatory!!! I know how difficult it is to stay motivated when you've hit a plateau, just keep with it as best you can and you'll start to see things moving again, if the weight is there, it'll drop off at some stage as long as you keep with it! I've hit a few plateau's in the last few months, but kept dragging myself out for walks and sure enough, I'll lose well for a few weeks and then stall. 12 years!!! Well done! That deserves a celebration! Don't be too hard on yourself, just get back out there once the celebrations are over!

Lilias- welcome!!! Good start with the brekky- most important meal of the day! I often add stewed apples or pears (since we always have them here! LOL) to my porridge to sweeten it up, or some banana when they don't cost a million bucks each I 'can't' let go of the sugar in my coffee though. Just can't!!!

Zavara Flutterby, I'll definitely check out that thread, I'm relatively 'new' so I don't know all of Lucy's story, but I'll definitely take a look-see!

~JAYNE~ Are you back yet??? How did the reunion go? Did you blow everyone's mind??? Hope it all went well.

    Raupe, how are you going?

AFM, I've been TERRIBLE diet wise for the whole time AF has been here. I've been sneaking bikkies (from who??? no one, just feeling sneaky everytime i get one) and eating about 4 pieces of home bread everyday on top of all my food. Plus I haven't exercised for the last 3 days. I took a look at my training diary tonight trying to psych myself up and it's helped a little. I travelled 65.4km on foot last month!!! I know I can keep it up, it's just a matter of getting out there and doing it! Wish me luck girls, and thanks for being here!

oooh so much activity, it's great. Not much for me tho... cooked a lovely stirfry with prawns for 12th wedding anniversary dinner last night... then spent the night puking & the morning on the toilet. Thank goodness everyone else was ok (even the kids had the veggies from the stirfry). So resting up for a day or two methinks... feel like crap warmed up atm.

Oh no belfie!! How awful, but happy anniversary My mouth was salivating at the thought of your yummo stir fry... until you mentioned the vomiting!

Krystals- wow! 65.4kms is amazing!! That is a lot of ground covered How far do you normally go in each session? Hope AF has disappeared again and the eating gets back on track! I love the idea of stewed apples and pears in the porridge, i will have to give that a try, it might make DS enjoy it a bit more too! I tried adding a yoghurt but it was revolting. I don't mind a few sultanas in mine with a bit of brown sugar.

krysalyss- i am so jealous of you losing 2kgs just like that! But that is an awesome run time! I am thinking about doing the mothers day classic on sunday and seeing what my best time will be, but i have this awful feeling that there will be a cut off time to complete the race and i will be well over it! How embarrassing! How good a work out is soccer training? DF keeps asking if i will come along to his training sessions to see how i go, but since i don't play in the team i think it would be weird to turn up to training! Not to mention that we would have to organise someone to look after the kids which would be a complete pain, and it would also mean a late night for them. See, i have plenty of excuses... LOL. Your week sounds awesome for training though, i wish i could say the same here!

ZF- your camping photos looked great, what a wonderful trip! So jealous! Never mind about the weight gain, it seems to fall of you when you are focussed on it, so i am sure you will be looking awesome by your reunion! I was 6 months pregnant with my second child at our 10 year reunion, and i was one of only a few people in my whole year who had started families and the only one to almost have a second child. I felt like such a freak at the time as they all kept looking at me like i was crazy when i told them... Now i just think, too bad, i have everything in life that I want and just because its not the path you chose to go down doesn't make mine any less valid.

Lilias- have you thought about trying the flavoured coffee's instead of adding sugar to a straight one? I am hooked on the coles swiss coffee (its a mocha i think) and its sweet enough not to need sugar added? I used to be a bit of coffee snob, but i think i have softened over the years! Other people i suggest it too think i am nuts... LOL.

AFM- i am struggling big time at the moment with DD and her arachnophobia, so many sleepless nights, its worse than having a newborn! She wakes up screaming thinking there are spiders in her bed, and then i cuddle her and she thinks that there are spiders in my hair, then on the wall behind us. It seems endless! No idea what to do to fix it, but i am tired as! I have been doing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred each night, which is a great 20 mins of high intensity work out, not burning anywhere near the calories i was when i was going to the gym, but i don't really have the time anymore. I might start adding some more runs in, or big bushwalks on the weekend and maybe a swimming session one morning per week with my aunt who lives down the street. Sorry, really just blathering now! Have to get going and do my 30 day shred, i have been chained next to DD's bed so she will go to sleep.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments on my photos

Apple - Soccer training isn't too bad for a workout but it depends on the coach. Games are certainly an amazing workout - if you play the whole game you probably burn off around 1300 calories! Sometimes at training if we are just skills training then we might be doing kicks or throw ins and then you might not get the work out you are after. Having said that it probably goes for 90 mins or so so it would be way better than a 30 mins jog. I put down 500 calories for a 90 min training session but that is probably conservative. I know if I am training with guys I really put the effort in as I am not one to let a guy show me up LOL. And it isn't unusual to let other people join in for training but expect that they will try and recruit you for the ladies team. I have to say that I love soccer and it is really what turned my fitness around from an "I hate exercise" kind of person to someone who will actually voluntarily jog just so I can play better on the field. You are just too busy running after the ball to focus on other things. Indoor soccer / futsal is awesome if you can do it as it is 40 mins of fast running around a court and after a few weeks you start to feel like 40 mins just isn't long enough because it is so fun and great for fitness. HTH . I know 2kg is a lot to lose but once I go under 70kgs I really drop to about 1kg a month. Just wish i had kept it off over last summer then I wouldn't be here again!

    Hi guys!!

I just signed up for the heart challenge, too! Whoop whoop!! .

Exercise is doing great, food not so much. Have not returned from my "Easter Break" yet (foodwise).... . Naughty me. The worst meal of the day is usually breakfast for me. I'm not really into the sweet stuff, I HATE anything sloppy (porridge, weetbix...) and all I "feel" like is something savoury (sp?). However, I struggle for time (or motivation, let's face it) to cook (scrambled eggs or whatever). So I usually end up buying breakfast (egg, bacon hashbrown and other fatty cr@p). Which is sooooo bad for me. So, does anyone have any idea what I could be having for breakfast? Oh yeah, and I get sick of the same stuff really quickly, so I need to keep changing it every week or so... . I know, I'm difficult . DF tells me so every morning! Hehe! But seriously, HELP!

    Some brekky ideas -
    baked beans with toast
savoury muffins (you could make them the night before a batch would last a few days)
    cold quiche
left overs from last night's dinner
grainy toast with some yummy topping
    toasties
