I really shouldn't comment in case I got fired BUT...no one knows me lol....
People that do their own cool down at the end of the class...if you're going to leave early then fine...but you should tell me...if you have an injury then fine...but again, you should tell me.
People that leave early during a class with an actual reason but don't tell me before...I take that **** personally you know and think you're not enjoying the class.
People that know i'm talking to them but totally ignore my advice...at least aknowledge i'm speaking....and if you continue to squat to your ankles in Pump then I will tell you. And if you continue to kick to someones imaginary head in Combat then again, I will tell you differently...I have insurance but I don't want to use it...
Same with people that do their own choreography...even if you're right I'M the instructor, follow me. You might do 10 Pumps a week and know the chorey better than me but I have three different programs of chorey to remember plus participants that want different tracks on different weeks, sometimes I make mistakes.
So...instructors are people too...not infallible and possibly have kids, another job etc...don't think they're robots that don't have feelings or anything else to do other than deliver a perfect class. Some of them have out of control anxiety that makes them not want to get out of bed let alone get up on stage and smile and motivate 30 people.
ETA...sorry, sounds bitter and awful...don't mean to ruin the thread...bad day. Let me say most of the time participants make the difference between a great class and an awful class, which can make the difference between a great day and an awful day to the instructor...so go along, enjoy...give back, be loud and enjoy!!
