Just want to hear everyone's stories on using Tony Ferguson.
I don't really like the idea of meal replacement shakes etc... but i have the whole set up with supplements, fibre, cookbook, and meal replacements for free so i will be giving it a go, and i guess i just want to hear some stories, good and bad
I did it for a little one - lost about 5kgs. I really don't think its a good long term weight loss solution but a good kick start. The best thing I found about it was the convenience - so many of the better, healthier diets are great but they're really time consuming, especially if you have to make something for you and something for the rest of the family, so the shakes were great.
i think i just need that kick start, that boost to get back into it than i will be right (i hope). I want to loose 10kgs, anymore is an awesome bonus
are the shakes nice tasting?
I didn't like most of them TBH (especially not the more supposedly fruit tasting ones) so ended up sticking with the mocha, espresso, cafe latte (are you picking a theme yet???) and got a few chocolate ones so I felt like I was having a bit of a treat.
I think they're a great start - if nothing else they tend to get you into a better mind set of eating without all the refined stuff, sugars etc. I hope they work well for you.
Hahahaha i was tossing up going for that theme too, but though coffee is one of my "naughty" habits so am trying to cut back on that too LOL
I hate the thought of having the shake on water.... yucky! would be better on milk
I jumped on the scales today, but haven't seen much of a change so far, only about half a kilo, it's a bit disappointing but I'll get there. I only *need* to lose 11kg to get to my healthy weigh range. BUT I do need to stick to TF a bit better so I'm going to write myself up a proper meal plan and stick to it.
PP as everyone keeps telling me a loss is a loss i know still dosen't help much but hey i guess it's a start
you will lose 11kgs in no time have you decided on a treat to reward yourself when you do?
I have set mini goals, 1st goal is 5kgs and than i am going for a massage, 2nd goal is 10kgs and than DH and i are going on a date to gold class, and 3rd goal is 15kgs and i will be buying a bikini! that alone is a MASSIVE step for me as i am so so self conscious, with majoy self esteem issues but im determined to do it if its not a bikini than it will be a nice one piece (which will be more like it), atm i won't swim in anything less than short and a t-shirt and that is IF i jump in the pool.
I also weighed myself today (im guilty of doing it every day to be honest, it gives me motivation) and i am down 2kgs, im thinking this will not be a big week of weigh loss, but in saying that i have stopped the TF this week, the soups are just awful and my DH has taken a liking to the shakes
funny you should mention hamburgers, we had them for dinner last night, but I had mine on wholemeal bread with lettuce, tomato and sauteed onion and it was so much better then a greasy hamburger
I had taco's last night but instead of the wrap i had it wrapped in lettuce messy but nice!
Howeve in saying that i have caved the last 2 days. Yesterday was my "day off" and i had Macca's and 2 scotches and today i had pasta not going to be a good week
I had curried egg in lettuce wraps for lunch today they were so good!
Don't beat yourself up for caving, I plan on treating myself tomorrow while I'm out grocery shopping... lol Won't be maccas though, last time I ate it, it made me feel sick, I've been craving a sausage roll for the last week and a bit
Yum that is such a great idea! curried egg in a lettuce wrap! awesome idea! i am so having that for lunch! i am getting a bit sick of salad all the time!
and Mmmmm a sausage roll drowned in tomato sauce.... now you have my tummy grumbling
