you know I have tried this diet so many times its not funny. Lasted a week last time and just couldn't face the sight of protein again. It is definately a great diet, if you can stick to it. Can't say I will be joining you, but good luck

I don't reckon its that bad but then again I get different types of meats and mix it up with eggs and protein shakes for snacks when I can't be bothered LOL Its only protein only for 3 days then its like normal eating

Being pregnant I can't join you but just wanted to say its worth checking out the forums if you haven't already. There are some amazing recipes on there for protein snacks that are for sweet foods. I found I was so over the meat all the time too, but got a renewed energy for it when I got started on the sweet stuff.

    Good luck with it.

Sorry - should have said that from memory its in the members' recipe section, not official bodytrim recipes. Lots of things with ricotta or cottage cheese.

the jelly cheesecakes are sensational! Only ever had ricotta cheese cooked into things before but never with jelly. LOVE LOVE LOVE definately try them. In the first week of doing the program I lost 4.6kg, which was brilliant considering you only have to do a 30 minute walk each day. I would try it again, with the right support. My hubby was not very good when it came to keeping me on track

Can I do it too? What do I have to do? I have a friend whose mum and sister lost heaps of weight on this, but I don't know the ins and outs of it.

with BT, you do protein only for 3 days. 50 grams of protein for snacks and 100 grams for main meals. You have to eat at least 6 times a day, but you can eat some protein every hour of you need to. For the first few days its best to take a fibre supplement like benefibre because you can get quite constipated. After the detox phase, you can add a serve of carbs to your breakfast or a serve of fruit. Then you have the protein and vegies/salad for main meals but continue the protein for snacks. You have a free day once a week, again keep protein for snacks and don't overdo your free meals. The day immediately after your free day you have a day of protein only

exercise is limited to 20-30 minutes of basic movement a day, they recommend walking if you are not a regular exerciser. And they say you need to do 10,000 steps per day to get optimal results.

I will get my book out and add more info for you

Oh you are wonderful! Thank you.

I don't think I can get the book from my friend because she's in Batemans Bay and I'm in Brisbane, but I will look into buying it. The thing is, if I do it, I'll be starting a little later than you guys because I'm away at the Sunshine Coast for a week from the 7th til the 14th and won't be able to start til I get back - no matter though

I am in Perth WA. So you will get a little head start lol. How much weight are you trying to loose? I have 15kg to get rid of, and hoping to have it gone by the end of April for my hubbies birthday.

With your protein snacks you can have 50 to 100grams, so if you feel the need to have a bit more then have the 100grams but if your weight loss is stalling, then try to stick to the 50 grams. WHat I really liked about it was that they really do emphasise not to sweat the small stuff. Can't stand your toast without butter? Smear a bit on. Need tomato sauce on your meatball snack ? Go for it. Its a much more balanced way to diet, rather than all shake diets or things like Cohens when are soooo regimented.

Lynsdan - don't do it now lovely. While you feel great after the first week or so, it is really draining to begin with and you have more than enough to worry about without sapping your energy even further. It is also far too limiting on calcium when you are trying to keep your milk supply up.

    Good luck ladies.

    EXCELLENT!!!!!!

I haven't made my jelly cheesecakes yet, really need to do it soon so they set for tomorrow night, I enjoyed having one for my evening snack, curbed the sweet attack

I won't be around until midday tomorrow, have to work in the morning and have a few cake orders I have to get organised for. But will check in when I get home.

    All the best for tomorrow.
