I got one for mothers day, i think that we paid about $130.
I dont use it all the time, but i have to say that i have earnt enough 'fit cash' to get the free step and jogging...

For those who havent seen it yet, you start stepping, nothing fancy, just on and off, and the noise comes through the contoller, this way you can switch to regualr TV and do 10 mins of step... its great.

I dont always find the time to use mine, but use it as a motivator, i hate it when i have gained weight, so the baby fat is coming off... 6.5kg to go

    Wii Fit gals??

I too have a WII fit and I'm about 23 weeks pregnant. I love it. Yoga, strength training and the aerobics are fun and not too bad. The only thing I don't like is the body test where it keeps telling me I'm obese and I just keep gaining. That's the only downer. Other than that I love it. I wish they had a pregnancy mode for the body test.

I would just leave out the body test for the moment, too depressing otherwise

I love my Wii fit. JB Hi fi was the cheapest I found. Wii sports pack was $499 save $150 and the Wii fit was $129 (RRP $150). Well worth it.
My eliptical crosS trainer which I bought for $799 about 6 months ago is starting to collect dust. I wish I had bought the wii prior to the cross trainer.
I love th hula, and the step. Boxing is fun too.
Oh I love it all and it's only been two days. BODY'S A BIT SORE BUT!!! LOL!

I realise this is a Wii fit gals thread, but thought I would answer a few of the questions.

We bought one on Friday and I am very sore this morning.

My wife is 6 weeks pregnant so I was researching whether there were any issues with any of the activities?

    To answer your queries:
    - Boxing is part of Wii Sport (which comes with every Wii console) it is in there with Bowling, tennis, baseball etc. Havent seen it as yet in Wii Fit. So you dont need the Wii fit to do this one.
    - Prices: current prices are around $399 for console, 1 controller and Wii sport. JB Hifi has it for $388. I bought a bundle from Target which was $429 and contained an extra game (beach sports) and a bunch of 8 controller add ons eg steering wheel, tennis raquet etc. Bought the Wii Fit from JB Hifi as it was $149 (best price i saw at most chains) but came with a cool rechargeable battery pack. EB games do price match, but because of the supply shortage, if you see a good price grab it!!

Really great fun and great excercise. Hula really works up a sweat and boxing kills your back and shoulder muscles.

ahhhh. found the wii fit Rhythm Boxing. this is pretty good, especially the advanced one.

I think the Wii sport boxing is a better workout though!

My wife has written to Nintendo telling them they need to add pregnancy into the choices. She got asked yesterday the reason why she was putting on weight and it gave her a lecture!!!!

    Not happy!

Tricksy could she tell it that her goal is to put on weight?
It recognises that if you get on and are weighed and then get on holding something (like a baby) that you are holding more weight and will ask you if you want to weigh something...

I have 4.6kg to get to my goal and i am a 1kg to reach pre pg weight woo hoo

I love my Wii fit too!!! Don't do it nearly enough so was wondering where I can find the Wii fit social club that one of you ladies has mentioned on this thread. Thought it would be great motivation for me.

Well, we have the WiiFit now - love it. My COG is screwy and I have discovered I can't stand on one leg very well anymore, haha (Its aptly named as the tree pose - only someone has to yell timber every time I try it) but my balance is pretty good, I am loving the step basic aaaaaaand - my WiiFit age is 27 (I'm 30!! WOOT) - even though its calling me obese (rotten board). I am taking the max "clothes" weight off (3kgs) to try and compensate, but its still going up. Poor thing is probably going to die after I have had the baby (that is after it berates me for not listening to it berate me every day for being fat).

Loving this board, but damn its cheeky!

I got a wii and the wii fit for my b'day last weekend - great present. I haven't had a chance to use the wii fit yet but I've had lots of fun doing the wii sports game. When doing aerobics etc on the wii fit do you were shoes (joggers) or do it bare foot? I havent unpacked the wii fit yet, so I guess it will probably tell me everything I need to know once I do?
