Got a Kenwood one and LOVE it

It's not that good for big messes though so I either drag out the sponge one or use a few towels

    Thanks Raven,

thinking of using it just for general cleaning of the floor now DS2 is on the floor more often!

I have a Kenwood and I'm not really impressed with it. I had a generic one from Godfreys before that which I thought worked better. It was fantastic! Someone told me to get the microfibre pads for the steam mop which makes them work better but I havn't found any which will fit my mop.

I've got a cheapie from BigW - it does just as good a job as the expensive stream pro that died. Small tank though. Bit of a pain to keep refilling when you only have tiles.

Hmmm... are they recommended for wooden floor boards? I mop them with an old fashioned mop and bucket but it's a large area and a pain of a job.

Mine works better on Lino and tiles than the wood floor.

My floor is only laminated wood floating floors, not actually wooden floorboards...

Tinkerbell: what do you mean? The cleaning result? Has it done anything to the wood? My wooden boards are already quite old and scratched etc so I'm not that precious... just as long as they don't warp I guess.
