Well they do not like salt. So sprinkle some down where they like to go, so around the stove, under the fridge etc. Wipe down sinks etc with a salty solution.
Its funny you say that as i just noticed a big native one walk along the skirting and got DP to get rid of it! I hate seeing them around and they make me feel like I have a dirty house but they are everywjere around my area, on the streets, etc. We had a really warm day today and the warm weather brings them out. I am going to have to spray the house (you can get indoor mortein that you spray along all skirtings, window frames, doors, etc and also buy some new baits to go under the lounge, behind the tv cabinet, etc.
Apparently they are cleaner than our own hands but stilll ewwwww!
