    Oh and another point about cutlery packing in dishwashers; they should be handle down and dirty end up. Yes it's more convenient putting the dirty end down into the holder because when it comes time to empty the dishwasher it's easier to grab a fistful to put away into the drawer. But doing it that way makes it harder for the water to thoroughly circulate around the dirty end meaning the next time you put it in your mouth it's more likely to be germy. Had to share
    Except for sharp knives like steak knives. For safety keep them down

    I'm a bit anal about stacking the dishwasher too. I always restack it after DH has put dishes in My dishwasher has a cutlery tray at the top so all my cutlery fits nicely without nesting together it bugs me when DH mixes them up.
