good Q Leasha, I make it whenever I get to it, after putting the washing on etc... But now that you mention it I think I will leave it till last and air the bed!

I air it! I also hang out the quilts to air & I usually turn on the fan to create more "air"...

I think it is recommended to not make the bed straight away after you get up, but to actually pull back the top bedding so the mattress and bottom sheet can air out.

ATM no i dont make our beds daily, i make DSD's bed daily when she stays with us but for some reason not my own lol.

Im hoping to take on some of my mothers OCDness soon when it comes to house tidiness tho...waiting for that gene to kick in still ...anyday now surely?

(am thinking i need the deliciously yummy TD to come whip me into shape when it comes to the house...and maybe some belly rubs? hehe)

You know Ammaki as i was waiting for the page to load, i was thinking "if this girl does not make her beds, i WILL go and kick her butt" and then added "kick her butt gently TD, as she is carrying your nephew!" OMG, my nose is tingling. I'm tearing up thinking about your bubba Ammaki. Belly rubs....ooooo yes please. **stands in line, hand out**

I make mine and Emily's first thing in the morning. Nina makes hers when she wakes up. When I wash the sheets, I air the mattress out for the day and make the bed that night. I LOVE fresh sheets on a bed.

I make mine as soon as i get up!

And i straighten DS's cot as soon as he's up too!

When i change the sheets, i leave the bed to air all day.

I am one who must have the beds made each day. This comes from my mother, once we were old enough it was up to us to make our beds and if we didn't she would close our doors. I pretty much always made my bed, i just knew it had to be done.

In my house i make all the beds, if DH does it, it's not really to my standards so i do it again anyway

Only on slack days would i maybe not do....

But if i was up and getting ready for work or to go out beds being made would be a necessity before i walked out the door.

It's not an obsession but i just have an expection of how i like my house to be kept and presented and that is one of them

I only make the bed when I change the sheets each week. But we do make the bed right before we get into it at night...seems bl@@dy stupid now that I think about it!

I make the bed each day, straight after I get dressed. As a kid, my mum didn't really mind about the beds, but we used to get loads of praise if we did make it, so, I got into a habit as a child.

I don't really care about leaving it unmade all day, but I must 'fix' it before I climb into bed.

Beds MUST be made everyday! The boys make their own and properly too as I cant handle seeing a badly made bed. It just makes the room look tidy if the bed is made. Got it from my mother I think.
DH thinks I am anal about housework as lounge kitchen dining area (open plan) gets vaccummed twice a day and everything else every second day.
Bathrooms and toilets get done two to three times a week and I do at least two loads of washing everyday.
I cant handle mess it stresses me out big time and I cant relax knowing that something needs to be done, I cant just leave it. Wish I could though I would have alot more time.
