How many times a week do you bake?

I have begun baking more and more, probably 2 -3 times some weeks. I make mufins, cakes, slices and scones. Id much rather something homebakes than from a bakery or packet.

    How often do you bake?
Is it for lunch boxes or afternoon teas or just cause you like baking?

I bake often and then sometimes not for a few weeks. Generally though I bake at least once a week buy up to 3-4 times, mostly on weekends and I can do a weeks worth of baking plus entertaing on Sunday and every other Tuesday. It really varies. Tonight I made pie. On Saturday I made caramalised onion, thyme and goats cheese foccacia slice. Before that raspberry & white choc friands. I'll probably bake some snickerdoodles tomorrow and we've got a tin of apples in the cupboard which could turn into apple pie with the flakiest pastry that melts in your mouth, or my apple crumble muffins which everyone loves or my French apple teacake that has this yummy topping (made from egg butter and sugar it's amazing!). I just got a new cookbook for my birthday called "Baked" it's by these guys who own a NYC Bakery of the same name. I'm going to slowly work through the recipes. They have this amazing espresso choc chip banana bread and I've been making their brownie recip for years!

Probably 3 times a week. I will do a big bake on a Sunday and then top up with fresh stuff through the week. Mostly biscuits and slices for lunchboxes/morning and afternoon tea etc. Sometimes I will do a cake, but it doesn't travel as well as biscuits and slices so the cake is usually just for something different and one that doesn't need icing (as the icing doesn't travel well at all) like a banana bread or date loaf. cupcakes do get a run too but biscuits are my thing - I have 86 cookie cutters ROFL. I will bake a pudding at least once a week too and there is usually enough to last the week. The big winners around here are shortbread, gingerbread, choc chip, anzacs and my chocolate fudge slice with chocolate ganache <- recipe has been posted already LOL

I bake 2-3 times a week. Would like to bake just once, but the bigger batch I make the quicker it goes

At least once a week if not twice, usually always for playgroup on Tuesdays. Have got some jam drops in the oven right now. DS helped me this morn so they look, hmmmm lets say, interesting LOL. I like to bake biscuits, loafs, muffins etc both for DH if he's home & DS to get more things into him like vegies & I figure better a cake made at home than one that can last 3weeks on the shelf at woolies!

I usually bake at least once a week. Some weeks I'll bake more, depends if I want to try something different.
