Hi my name is MuminAlice and it has been 2 weeks since I vacuumed and washed the floors, 3 days since I did the dishes, and 6 weeks since I did the bathroom (eeewwww). My excuse is DD, she just does not like sleeping in the cot during the day and I can't be fagged doing it in the afternoon. But really my reason is I can't be bothered. I really need servants.. I also NEVER dust, it can only get so dusty and then you don't notice it.

This is sooo me. I can't see the floor in our 2nd bedroom/study but that is because the contents of the bookcases are all over the floor. But that room is number 1 on the cleaning hit-list as we've got family arriving in 2 weeks to come and stay.

The rest of the house is reasonably tidy (but I did spy a few dust bunnies making a run for it across the dining room floor last night)

    Oooh me me me!

Despite my 'best' intentions the house usually goes 2-3 weeks without being cleaned! (bathroom/toilet cleaned, vaccuming and mopping). And dont start on the dusting..urm maybe 4 times a year if it's lucky?

I have an excuse not to mop now though, stupid dog was bouncing around outside and knocked it over so the plastic bit where the sponge goes broke and now the sponge won't stay on. DF did say he was going to buy me a steam mop for mother's day...I'm still waiting and so are my floors

Hi all, my name is Glamourcide and my house is far from glamorous!
It's been nearly a week since I mopped my floors... I haven't vacuumed the bedrooms in God-knows how long... :/ My bathroom floor is constantly damp and there's toothpaste on the mirror!
My excuse is always that the baby decides to wake up every time I get stuck into cleaning, and I feel like a horrible mama if I stick her in her walker while I clean up!!

OMG, I love you all for being lazy housekeepers.....thankyou for making me feel normal!!!

My dishes are only washed because DH did them.

My bed hasn't been changed for god knows how long. I too still have the sheets from last time I changed them in the bottom of the washing basket.

I have 2 over flowing baskets of washed clothes to fold. One load in the dryer to get out. One load in the washing machine to rewash because I was too lazy to get out said load from the dryer. Then I have an overflowing basket of clothes to be washed...who knew we had sooo many clothes!

I have half a big container of veggie soup int he fridge which I made about 2-3weeks ago that needs to be thrown out. Thankfully it doesn't smell yet. Maybe when it does it will make it to the bin...

The only thing I have cleaned recently is the toilet and floor around it because DD peed all over the seat and floor

The ensuite bathroom hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long. That's DH's responsibility though!

The display cabinet is full of *****. I don't even know what's on it. I don't know what colour it is anymore it's been so long since I've seen it.

Usually I'm a bit of a clean freak....but lately (is the last 6mths- at least!!) I have come to the realisation that really, who gives a ****. If I don't neither does DH, the kids clearly couldn't care less....it's only my mother and the little devil she's left on my shoulder telling me I'm lazy and that she's taught me better that really care....and you know what, I've got better things to do!

errr im guilty of that too... i have sooo many containers in the fridge that need to be emptied but that means more dishes... ahh its a vicious cycle....

Oh, I love you all, you have made my night.

I'm so lazy I can't even be bothered telling you how lazy I am right now.....

    oh wait, that's not fair

Can't rememebr the last time I cleaned the ensuite, or the oven, (but hey no-one looks in there)... I did scrub the kids bath the other night but that was because I had to rinse out the spilt bubble bath, so I used the facewasher to rub at the really dirty bits while I was there. That's called multi-tasking

OMG I love you all!!!! So glad I am not the only lazy person.

We get a cleaner once a fortnight as when DS1 was a newborn I couldnt get anything done as he had to be held all the time and the house was getting me down, now with 2 not a hope in hell of me getting it all done.

I always have washing to be done, washing to be folded, washing to be put away!! I regularly re wash a load as to lazy to fold other washing to make space to hang more!
I dont iron!! I dont even fold DS1 clothes as he pulls them out drawer and chucks on floor!

I have stuff covering bench, buffet, chest of drawers etc, I always meen to sort stuff but it doesnt happen.

Always have stuff in fridge needing chucked!!!!!!!!!!!

We moved to this house early December and still have two and a half rooms that haven't been sorted out yet...one is the office which has DF's desk sorted out (not tidy though but that is his problem) and the other two are storage rooms, they just have boxes of **** stuffed in them, I don't know where to start!
ALso have a giant pile of the last 7 or so months of paperwork that needs to be filed away, includes a TON of invoices from DF's business! I think I just need a box labelled 'filing cabinet' to dump it all in
