Don't hold me to it, but I didn't think napisan was that strong that any remanents in the machine would be enough to bleach something. I had a white with red check teatowel that got in the dark load and came out grey with red check the other week and put it in a really strong bucket of napisan, got all the grey out but didn't touch the red....don't really know what's going on in your machine!!
thats whats werid. aside from just washing powder, the napisan is the only other thing we have ever used!! (unless DH has been doing something sneaky...he is a bit of a washing freak...)
What washing powder do you use? Never use one that has "optical brighteners" in the ingredients. They can sometimes bleach your clothes. Always use a washing powder specially made for colours (or at least hasn't got optical brighteners in them). Although most colours/dyes are not affected by these additives, some dyes do bleach when using them.
How mysterious! It really does sound like bleach to me, but Napisan has never done anything like that to any of my coloureds. Are you sure there's no Exit Mould or similar in the house that someone may have been using?
