we lived in an area where mice were an issue, so everything is in containers - tupperware freak here! we have put everything in modular mates. we have quite a few larger containers that we randomly put bits and pieces in - but we essentially pulled everything out of the pantry one day, listed everything, what size container we needed, spoke to our friendly demonstrator (thanks Pandora!) and worked out the best way to do it. we were doing a massive order for us, so created a party just for us, and worked out the best way to get it. a little later, we worked out what we needed again (cos we realised there was soem stuff sharing containers that we just needed to have in their own containers) - and now as we realise we could use something else, we order more.

it's definitely not a cheap way to do things - but it's working brilliantly for us. we have a real mix of container sizes - and our panty is (mostly!) easy to navigate lol. we have a couple of under bed containers (the low plastic ones) that we store bags of things that don't fit in the containers, but that we always have on hand (extra bags of flower, rice, extra pasta etc) that sit in the bottom of the pantry - but everything else is tupperware modular mate stuff. everything that wasn't tupperware has now been removed (thanks for finally making daddy get rid of the other stuff poppet AKA pantry thief!)
