Rose and Geranium Oils. I have an electric burner. I also have linen spray with rose oils (I might spritz the couch or the curtains). Japanese incense I also love. Sometimes I also use charcoal incense.

Both fab ideas.
Ladybirdflies- how much euco do you put in to water? I dont want to overpower but at the same time sounds good.
Rouge- Great idea to spritz the couch as even though I have covers on our couch and I wash them, it would be good to get the deep down smells and also the dog beds and curtains. I have never heard of charcoal incense. Sounds interesting though.
nothing! Lol. I do Glen 20 DD's bedroom though because sometimes it smells like poo![]()
Yep I try to open the house whenever it's sunny (warmth is relative in winter LOL) and I also like to use incense occasionally and candles. I am picky about my candles though, preferring essential oil ones or plain fragrances like vanilla or spices rather than artificial floral smells. Spices, vanilla, rose etc all layer over the top of each other nicely. I detest the artificial smelly thingies that you get at the supermarket, although there are some nice real citrus oil sprays (pump pack) that give a nice lingering citrussy smell. I have made room sprays before using whatever oils I wanted in water, I mix the oil into a tablespoon or two of witchhazel first to emulsify it, then add into the water.
Agree with rose/geranium oils burning in the burner... vanilla spray for cleaning the fridge, and I also use an apple scented kitchen cleaner which helps the kitchen smellsI use Orange Power spray in the toilet LOL. You can also get lime and other scents. Also putting my slow cooker on makes the house smell divine!!!
Vanilla carpet sprinkle stuff before I vacuum....![]()

Do you know what is REALLY nice????! It's called Vanilla Fresh spray (McLintocks) and you get it at woolies and it's like a general spray antibacterial and safe around food (we use it on benches and in the fridge!) and it smells awesome!!! Ok, it's probably not as natural as some other things out there but it's so good!!! you have to try it!!
Dusk (The Candle Shop) sell vaccum beads, you only need to sprinkle a couple on the floor, vaccumm them up and then keep vaccumming.
You can get a few different fragrences, I love fresh air - could be clean air. I've had a jar of beads since this time last year!!
