Hi everyone,
I just wanted to get some opinions out there. I bought some boys clothes, I won 3 auctions in total...In each of the auctions she said they were in worn condition, but 3 items have multiple holes in them, which to me is more than worn, it really should be specified and I wouldn't bother selling items in that condition myself. I didn't clarify it, as I just thought they would be in reasonable worn condition.
The photos weren't good enough to see any of the damage as the clothes were all laid over each other. Only this one (220231741336) possibly shows the damage on the jeans, and even then I thought they were fake patches to make it look worn - but no there is 1 patch and the rest are holes all over the jeans (i just ended up keeping them at my mums for him to wear home in case of emergency).
It came to $22.50 in total, which she only charged $20 and threw in a few extra tshirts, and it did say worn (which I didn't clarify, but now I will if I ever bother buying clothes again on ebay)... Would you neg her? She can't neg me thanks to new ebay rules, but I still feel bad doing so (I?ve never negged anyone).
I didn't bother complaining and taking them back, but i was a bit annoyed (DH picked them up, or i would have said something at the time)...Now it's too late to do anything about it, and it was only $20 and I got a few ok items out of it, but I wouldn't have bothered with any of it if I had known the full extent.
I was thinking of just given neutral with something like "some items A LOT more worn that indicated, but otherwise good transaction".
Would you do that? Is it unfair to do it without emailing her first and saying i wasn't happy?
