    Tegan, I have an OB appointment on the 22nd at around 11.00ish, but you are welcome to come over in the morning?? Aricyn will probably go down for a nap at 10.30 (having inlaws come over and watch aricyn whilst I go get checked over) :-) PM me if you like :-)

    When Zander was about 10 weeks old I went to a first time parents class set up by the ECHN in my area. Basically it was to chat to other new mums & learn about feeding, sleeping, playing etc etc. From that we made our mums group, just continued meeting at the same time each week. It lasted until the kids were around 18 months old then kind of fell apart with people going back to work etc. One of my closest friends came from this group, her daughter is my goddaughter & Zander's best friend. So from that point of view it was invaluable to me, gave me a new set of friends that had children unlike all of my other friends who don't.

    That said, I don't think it's a bad thing not to be involved in this sort of thing.

    i dont have a mothers group...i didnt like mine too *****y.

    I think playgroups are better for the development. ratehr then mums group...they are only really for us mums
