Wow you girls are good at looking after yourselves! I don't remember the last time I did much for myself....I love to have baths, though the bath at this new house is tiny and pretty soon I'm going to be HUGE! I had a bath a few weeks ago and barely fit into it! I sometimes have coffee by myself. That's about it Must prioritise myself some more.

Hey Kel, its fantastic that you have made this a priority.

Like the other ladies said, even if its just a small thing such as getting your hair or nails (or both!) done once a month, just make a day and stick to it.

I dont have any kiddies yet, but I make a point every six weeks i get my hair and waxing done, as this is the only time I can get away from work and other commitments. Its my time, a couple of hours just to relax and do nothing having ppl fuss over me, as well as this I have also made good friends with my hair-dresser and beautician too...So there is another upside!!

Good luck with whatever you decide chick :-)

I go to a personal trainer twice a week and yoga once a week
Get my hair professionally cut & coloured every 6 or so weeks
    Get massages & facials regularly
    The occassional pedicure
    Work part-time (paid work)
Go out for breakfast/lunch/coffee/dinner with friends
Surf the internet & hop on forums like BB, FB, blogs etc...
    Go window shopping

Olive just remember my love when you have little babies it's much harder to do things for yourself. And... with time you get more practised at looking after you. It's really only in the last 5 years that I have really learned the necessity of caring for me. You will get there...

    I go op-shopping.
    I play video games.
I hang out with friends, kid free (or at least, without any kids I'm responsible for ).

What relaxes you Olive? What do you really enjoy? Is it a child free thing where you need to get out of the house to relax, or is there something you can do when the kids are in bed or busy?

If I don't exercise, I turn into a yelly mummy and I don't want to be like that so hitting the gym 4 times a week is vital to my emotional well being in life. I read a lot too, I tend to let the house go to pot when I have a good book on the go & that is always! I have decided today that i am going to put DD into care a couple of hours a week so that I can get the house clean without a little helper trawling along messing things as I clean as I am finding a messy house drags me down too.

I struggle with this too so I would love some suggestions!

I go to work.. I love my job and I love just being "Kate" for a few hrs.. silly I know but its me time..
Not silly at all hun! It's the same as me!
I got to work 2 times a week and for those 8 hours, I'm just Liz, not 'Mum' or wife, just Liz - It's all I've got honestly

After watching Got To Dance a couple of times and some old Michael Jackson video clips on Max and others on V, I do, however, want to start dancing again (did it in high school) but don't have the cash for it

I too dont have kidlets yet but I always make the time to head to a friends house for some Stampin Up fun.
I also (very unregularly) go to the gym and giggle while doing Zumba lol
I read, I get my nails done and I am TRYING to get my hair back to blonde after being Dark for 3 years. I still love it dark but DP like the look of it blonde (hasnt actually seen it like that just pics)

Ummm I go to the gym.. and I do shopping on a saturday by myself usually - sometimes I will take DS with me though if he's happy to go to the childcare at the gym for an hour beforehand though.

I've also got a voucher from my birthday to go and get my hair done (thanks Sterla!) so will be doing that soon - yippeee.. now to just decide on what hair cut and colour to do.....

I think thats about it though. I take long hot showers at night when all kids are asleep and I don't have to worry about being interrupted. Thats bliss.

I've got a book club that I go to once a month... so that involves reading at least one book a month which is also good me time!

Apart from that, I try and catch up with friends, but that's about it. Maybe once the little one is born and settles into life on the outside I'll be able to have a bit of ME time.
