I am so glad that you brought that up, i thought i was a big weirdo because my hips get REALLY sore. I don't know if its around the time of getting my period i didn't even know that it could be linked.. i would get it so bad i couldnt stand because the pain was so bad. It feels like they are grinding bone on bone, when i told my partner he looked at me like i was insane. Have you seen a doctor about it?
I went to my GP about periodic hip pain that was pretty bad and she told me that lots of women get it and that it's actually usually related to lower back pain but it eminates in the hips. Mine has gotten worse over the past two years but I think that's just age unfortunately.
I have never heard of it! i thought my sore hips were due to an accident i had about 3 years ago, i fell off a horse and landed on my right hip.. Iv been having lower back pain as well. I think i might speak to my doctor next time i see him.
I only linked 'bone to bone' hip pain with my period ... like everyother PM pain it seemes regualar and went away completely when i started to bleed. Plus i did have hip pain like this when i was pregnant.
My AF came this morning: i have a 6 week cycle but that can be irregular at times, there is nothing stopping me to wait for up to 12 weeks roughly in between periods. So with saying that when my hips are sore or my lower back aches etc i go oh hang on i bet my period should be around the corner!
I never actually linked it to it! i cant even think back if when i had the pains really bad were around the times i got it. I would have 3-6 month gaps between periods. But yeah the pains only started after my accident so i assumed maybe i hurt my hip when i fell but then again all my problems started at that time. I am so glad this was brought up it has definitely solved another mystery lol
