Clomiphene/clomid - when to have intercourse

Hi everyone. I'm new here, so please be kind

I am currently back on clomid after having a break for 3 months (before that I was on it for 3 cycles). I am wondering when is the best time to have intercourse? After the fifth tablet, then when? My ovulation test came back strong, but I think I left it too late to have intercourse & obviously "missed the boat". Does anyone know, or have any comments they could help me with? It would be much appreciated. Thanks

I was taking clomid CD 2-6. I would start DTD every second day from CD 10 till about CD 20 Just to make sure I didnt miss it.
I also used OPK's and tried to get in another on O day if I got a good OPK result.

We did the same as rufalina and conceived!

I was told that ovulation usually occurs 7-10 days after the last tablet. Of course this will vary (it was 8 days for me) so probably best to aim for regular BD and hopefully then you will be sure to catch it! Best of luck!

i "o" 5 days after my last tablet..i was taking from day 5-9
