Endo / adhesions on bowel

Hi All

New to this site and hoping someone can help me.

I had my post op review yesterday following a lap 2 weeks ago which included amongst other things a endo clean up and a heap of adhesions removed. Good news is that they able to remove most of the adhesions etc. Bad news is that I have a massive adhesion on my bowel. Has anyone else had this?

They were able to cut it in the middle and remove the other end where it was attached, but couldnt remove the end of it that is attached to my bowel (and its covering a big section of the bowel). It explains some of my excruciating pain, and I have noticed that the pain after the lap has become localised rather than generally in the lower abdomen area (since she removed all the rest the adhesions).

Dr has explained that it will need to be removed by her (gyno and infertility specialist) and a bowel specialist/surgeon and that based on its location, may require cutting through the bowel - GROSS!!!!!

Has anyone else had this? I am (quietly) freaking out and would love to hear from you and how your Dr dealt with it for you (and how you recovered).
