i couldn't see a specific thread for Fibroid sufferers so please feel free to point me in the right direction...or continue on with this thread

I was diagnosed with a fibroid about 3 years ago after i suffered a MC. My partner at the time and I had split up when this has happened. My first specialist wanted to do a mymectomy straight away, didn't inform me of the dangers/risks and thankfully it never went ahead as i had to move interstate. So then I found another specialist who did a lap to check out what was going on and he diagnosed me with adenoymyosis. He put me on Synarel for 6 months then strongly suggested i try to conceive straight after. The synarel was horrible, hot flushes etc. and it took months for my cycle to begin after i stopped taking it. It did stop the fibroid from growing but didn't shrink it as the specialist though it might. Being single i wasn't in a position to TTC so it was pretty much a put up with it situation.

Since then i've seen a couple of other specialist and they've told me it's a fibroid, and a cyst. it now measures 7.5 by 4cms.

I have now been with my partner for 20 months and we've been TTC since October last year. Nothing. My cycles are all over the place, my period is ridicoulsy heavy in the first few days, so much so that i really can't go out in public for more than a couple of hours as I will leak all over the place. Its really horrible. Then the pain each month, i'm extremely irritable, i've been diagnosed with iron defficient anaemia due to the loss of blood and all the other fun things fibroids bring

ANyone else out there suffer from fibroids? I live in a remote area where there aren't any fibroid experienced specialists so all they tell me is wait and see...

i would love to hear stories from anyone suffereing from fibroids
