Cailin is correct. I've been taking Metformin since Oct. and it not only helps with the insulin (which regulates your metabolism) and infertility but it also helps to regulate your menstrual cycle, which unfortunatly for me it works because :af: arrived today.

REALLY BAD CRAMPS

My mother takes it a 1000 mg a day (2 times a day) for her Diabeties.
My glucose test showed a moderate increase in my blood sugar but nothing to be worried about.

Test are still being taken to see if Metformin can decrease the chances of m/c in women with PCOS and if it has any effects on breastfeed children.
